Yet another EastEnders character will fall pregnant over the coming months in the soap's latest storyline twist.

Yesterday, 21-year-old Lacey Turner - who plays Stacey Slater in the Walford soap - was spotted filming on location sporting a pregnancy bump for scenes to air in the first quarter of next year.

Bipolar-suffering Stacey, who is currently receiving treatment in a psychiatric hospital after being sectioned earlier in the year, is allowed home in a few weeks' time and is due to rekindle her romance with the love of her life Bradley Branning (Charlie Clements).

It is rumoured that their reunion ties in with Stacey's discovery that she is pregnant.

Earlier this year, Stacey had a string of liaisons with various men across London when she went AWOL as her bipolar disorder spiraled out of control. More recently, she had a one-night stand with Ryan Molloy (Neil McDermott).

A Walford source this afternoon told DS: "Stacey falls pregnant, but all's not what it seems. Will Bradley and Stacey finally have the child that they've always wanted? Could the baby be Ryan's? Or could the father be somebody else entirely?

"We all know that Bradley's leaving the show as Charlie's [Clements] moving on, but how will he leave things with Stacey? Will the pressure of impending fatherhood become too much for him? Or will he make the shock discovery that he's not the baby's father?"

They added: "Whatever the outcome, it's a rollercoaster ride between now and the 25th anniversary for all concerned."

Other Walford women who have - or are expected to - become parents include Heather Trott (Charyl Fergison), Ronnie Mitchell (Samantha Womack) and Zainab Masood (Nina Wadia).

I have not seen anything to suggest that Lacey Turner is leaving EastEnders, so I think the baby will be Ryan's and Bradley will leave by himself. :(

They are talking about Stacey Pregancy and are basically saying that some EE mole are admitting that Bradley's not the Dad and he can't handle it which is why he leaves. It doesn't completely dismiss him as the father but says there's a real chance he isn't and then the end of the article quotes the mole as saying if he isn't it could be the straw that breaks the camel's back and tear them apart for good
It also says he was willing to bring up ex-girlfriend Syd Chambers son Noah, so bradley got what it takes to be a stepfather, and they said it is different because it is stacey we are talking about and he dad to get over the fact that she had a affair with his father Max and this could destroy their relationship, and it also says will the fella be able to overcome the nagging doubt that he may have to play daddy to someone else's child?

Bradley Saves Sad Stacey!

Bradley's Back but can he bring sad Stacey home to Walford? Jean's having trouble persuading her daughter to return, so when she clocks brad in the square she's certain he could do the trick. Jean tells bradley that stacey's in a bad way and would feel better if he brought her home from the psychiatric ward. Bradley agrees and lies to girlfriend syd about it!Hmm, just what is he up to? it's obvious to everyone (expect Syd) that Bradley cares for Stacey and it's just a matter of time before the pair realise they meant to be together. But with so much history between them can they make it work? The biggest issue has to be the baby that Bradley forced Stacey to abort - after all, before he left he said he regretted it. Could the pair make a new start by trying for a baby together? We'd love to see a mini-branning on the square in time for next christmas. But in soapland heartbreak is just around the corner. With the news Brad's leaving Walford for good in the new year, Could Stacey be left to bring up their baby alone?

Its very excting news that Stacey is going to have a baby, but really sad that bradley and stacey's relationship is going to suffer! I bet Bradley will be kicking himself thinking bout him making her abort their baby, and now Stacey's pregnant with another mans child. And it's obvious that its not Bradley's because they get back together a week before Stacey faints and finds out about the pregnancy!

Ryan is the only guy that we have seen her with, but Stacey told the doctor a few weeks ago that she had had sex with a lot of blokes, and that her illness had caused her to crave for danger, such as having unprotected sex with blokes where she might be caught etc.

Seeing Ryan in tonights episode got me thinking about what it would be like if he was the father of Stacey's baby. Maybe they could make a good couple. Ryan did like her to begin with, it was Stacey that pulled away. He is a nice guy, with a bad side as well, which kinda suits Stacey's personality. Wonder if Eastenders will go down that road when Bradley leaves.

The storyline with Janine and Archie makes me feel sick, but he'll be dead soon, so Janine will probs end up back with Ryan I agree Ryan and Janine are good together. Still Stacey might be better for him. Though obviously they both cause trouble lol.

I think she intimated to Roxie that it was Owen's. Still think there was very little time between her sleeping with Owen and already knowing she is pregnant and having bought booties.

Wonder what Stacey is going to say when Bradley asks who the father is? If she says I don't know, how is that going to go? lol. She'd sound like a slag. But then Bradley would probably understand about her illness and stuff. Do you think she'll mention Ryan? I think Bradley knows about him doesnt he?

Does anyone else feel deflated about the clip that there showing for the xmas episode with Stacey and Bradley? It's obvious whats happening, (that she's about to reveal she's pregnant) and it seems pretty much the same situation as when she revealed she was pregnant the last time. Staceys in a mood for ages, then Bradley begs her to reveal the news, and then finally she tells him.

Not that im not thrilled to be seeing storylines with Bradley and Stacey, but this scenario seems to have been very much overdone. I suppose it depends what happens afterwards as to whether its a good episode or not.
