Dean Aspen has spoken out about the hurdles he has had to overcome to play a character six years his junior.
The actor, who joined Hollyoaks last week as the Ashworths' 15-year-old godson Duncan, said that he has been working hard to maintain his baby-faced look.
Aspen told Holy Soap: "I have to shave every day, which I don't particularly like doing. I hate shaving every day. I'd normally do it when I start to trip over my beard."
Wearing a school uniform has also helped Aspen get into the role, as has gaining more than a stone in weight. "I just haven't been exercising," he said.
