Amy Winehouse's father Mitch is to embark on a singing career, it has been claimed.
The former taxi driver is recording an album of Frank Sinatra covers as well as his own original songs, according to The Sun.
A source said: "Mitch has been working on it for a while now. Amy always credits her dad with getting her into singing. He loves music. He has a good voice and wants a go at turning professional."
Earlier this week, he began his new chatshow Mitch Winehouse's Showbiz Rant for Living's new online channel Liv.
