Hollyoaks star Ricky Whittle has revealed that he would love to star in a remake of 1987 romantic movie Dirty Dancing.
The actor, who is favourite to win this year's Strictly Come Dancing, said that he would be willing to wear a "dodgy wig" to replace the late Patrick Swayze in a sequel.
"Antonio Banderas is getting on and sadly Patrick Swayze has gone, so I could be the lead in Dirty Dancing 4. I'd love to do Patrick," he told The Sun.
"I know Patrick wasn't a black baldy but I would be willing to wear a dodgy wig. I'm right soppy. I used to put on this macho image, but behind closed doors it is mine and Carley's [Stenson, girlfriend] favourite film."
Whittle and professional partner Natalie Lowe scored 32 points on Saturday for their samba, which judge Craig Revel Horwood described as "extraordinary".
Taken from Digital Spy - Don't think so Ricky - you couldn't hold a candle to the late Mr. Swayze, do dream on
