EASTENDERS bosses are about to launch an online spin-off of the soap - which will be the UK's most high profile web-based drama to date.

The show, which will go live in January, will follow four new teenage characters who arrive in Albert Square searching for an escape from their regular lives.

The spin-off, named EastEnders: E20, will feature cameos from regular cast memebers of the BBC1 show and have cross-over storylines.

It has been written by 13 young writers from London aged between 17 and 22 who wrote the online drama at a summer school.

EastEnders: E20 will also feature online extras, including video blogs and behind-the-scenes footage.

EastEnders boss Diederick Santer said: "These talented writers are creating a whole new Walford, infused with their own experiences of London life.

"A fresh perspective on a British classic, EastEnders: E20 will - I hope - delight new audiences and EastEnders diehards alike."

ALBERT Square is to get its own web spin-off show based on a group of sexy students.

Supremo Diederick Santer said EastEnders: E20 will nurture young talent for the main BBC soap.

The 13-part series, which will go live on the internet in January, will follow the lives of a gang of teenagers who already live on the Square.

Santer said: “There are other people in EastEnders milling round the market and houses that we never go into. There are four or five parallels you could do.

“It will be nice to see well-known characters through strangers’ eyes. Ian Beale may show up and he is just a strange, irritating man. Or they might ask: ‘Who is that moody girl in the market?’ And it will be Stacey Slater.”

Meanwhile, we can reveal that actress Charlie Brooks, 28, is set to thrill fans with her raunchiest-ever scenes.

Viewers will be glued to their TV sets next month when the actress, who plays maneater Janine Butcher, performs a strip show in the cellar of the Queen Vic.

Janine will peel off a black mac to reveal her racy outfit of a corset, stockings and suspenders.

It is part of her plan to seduce the new man in her life – hunky Ryan Malloy, played by Neil McDermott, 28.

A show insider revealed: “These are by far Charlie’s sexiest scenes and it won’t just be Ryan who gets a thrill that night.”
