SIMON COWELL and ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER had better watch out - the SPICE GIRLS are launching a TV reality talent show.
MEL B has been hinting that the gang will get back together for a few weeks now.
And it seems that rather than team up for another world tour, the girls want to branch out into television.
They're planning a How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria-style show to help find versions of themselves for a Spice Girls musical.
It could be very lucrative indeed.
And best of all for the yummy mummies is that it won't involve much travelling.
"Family commitments" was one of the reasons they cut short their 2007/08 tour. The idea for the new show is to audition girls to play Sporty, Scary, Ginger, Posh and Baby in the West End production.
The real Spice ladies - MEL C, Mel B, GERI HALLIWELL, VICTORIA BECKHAM and EMMA BUNTON - will sit on the panel, pass judgement and give advice to their new counterparts.
The band's former manager SIMON FULLER is helping with the idea.
He owns the rights to the "Idol" concept - so it could become Spice Idol.
A source said: "This is an idea which appeals to all of the original members.
"It's a fantastic new way to broaden out the Spice franchise and cash in on their personalities, their story and their songs.
"The girls would have to work intensely on a TV show for a short period of time.
"But they then launch a musical which could run for months or even years.
"It will take on a life of its own.
"The concept could even be replicated in other countries. The sky is the limit with this one."
Between Mel C and Victoria the band have got the specialist experience to make the show a hit.
Sporty is soon to star in the West End.
And over the summer Posh made a guest appearance as a judge on American Idol.
I reckon the Spice Girls panel could be even scarier than X Factor's.
Surely no one will dare audition.
