PANTO is heading to the Rovers Return this winter - and there will be fights on the cobbles over who gets to play who.
Most of the Corrie cast have it written into their contract that they can't sign up for real panto while on the show.
But now their characters will be seen taking part in a performance of Cinderella. And it wouldn't be panto without some back stabbing.
Becky Granger (Katherine Kelly) makes it into the final two for the role of Cinders. But she spruces up her audition by barking at the ugly sisters: "Who says I can't go to the flaming ball? Not you two old bats."
She is finally persuaded to play servant Dandini - but only after she is told it is a bigger role.
Claire Peacock (Julia Haworth) lands the big part with hubby Ashley (Steven Arnold) as Prince Charming.
