It's not the first time that Janice Connolly has been on Corrie. Back in 2004 she played Dolly Gartside, the overbearng mother of drayman Eric Gartside, played by comedian Peter Kay.

I thoght she was qiute funny especially when Tina asked if she was from the car insurance ad. Hope she stays for a while but knowing Norris he'll probably get fed up with her after her 1st day

Norris sacks her quite quickly according to the weekly spoilers but I don't know whether she stays on to work somewhere else or whether she leaves Corrie for good.

Me too. I did think it was unrealistic that Norris would take on someone like her.
