Ian Beale gets more than he bargained for when he tries to win back wife Jane after she leaves him.

The Square's unlucky cafe owner visits Jane in her temporary new home, a bedsit owned by Peggy Mitchell's sister, Aunt Sal.
However, when he arrives at the house he is shocked to find that his estranged wife is sharing with four hunky rugby players - one of whom opens the front door with nothing but a towel to cover to his modesty.

The sight comes as a massive blow to Ian, who found himself alone after a wife swap with Max and Tanya Branning exposed cracks in his marriage to long-suffering Jane.

After a week with each others' spouses Ian and Max ended up fighting, while Tanya revealed that Jane was unhappy after the experiment.

Jane returned home to tell her husband that she wanted a baby, having enjoyed looking after the Branning kids Abi and Lauren.

But, during a meal with Christian and the object of his affections Syed, Ian admits that he doesn't want any more children.
Devastated Jane decides to up sticks and teach Ian a lesson, moving in to Aunt Sal's bedsit.
Desperate to win his wife back Ian and Jane have a long talk inside but he leaves upset and alone as she decides to stay with the rugby players.

She is seen stood behind the curtains, watching Ian leave, crying and holding what looks like a Christmas card.

I don't think anyone knows yet as the return was kept secret until the episode aired. Hopefully there will be an interview with Laurie or Dominic Treadwell Collins released soon.
