Autumn

Well, after what turned out to be somewhat of an Indian summer and a lovely weekend spent sunbathing, it was quite misty and cool when I drove to work this morning and the forecast for the week is autumnal with showers and dropping temperatures. Whilst I like an autumn day with the leaves turning all shades of rusty browns, I am not looking forward to the wet and windy times ahead and then the cold and frosty nights to come. :(

I love Autumn.. my fav season and September is my fav month.. we didn't get an indian summer.. just cold and wet wet wet!!!

I love autumn and winter, leaves changing colour and dropping, cold mornings, wind, wrapping up warm to go out.

I had to scrape the ice off my car windscreen before going to work this morning :eek: There is definitely a chill in the air now :(

i hope i dont have to do that for a while, thats one of the only things i dont like doing!! But apart from icy cars i love these times when i have to wrap up warm to go out.

I like Autumn, but in Bangor, Its freezing! Its like a microclimate!

It is horrible where I am today too, grey sky, rain, temperature around 11 C, not good enough for me. And to know it is going to get a lot worse before it gets better again in around 6 months time :(

It was really muggy this morning when I went out and now we have torrential rain. It's not cold or windy, just sticky.

Oohh I love Autumn :) wrapping up warm, seeing your breath in the air, seeing the leaves change different colours, and hearing them crunching under your feet and then getting in and cuddling up with a cup of tea and watching a good film :)... of course that would be even better if you could share it with someone, but still.. Autumn is lovely :)

we had 3 very weird days here in Dublin this week.. monday was fabby.. beautiful sunshine.. I was just wearing a t-shirt, Tuesday was raining all day, non stop and today there is a layer of ice everywhere...
