Jennie McAlpine and Graeme Hawley went to Bury to film the next part of Fiz and John's story.
As you can see, John's finally released from prison and Fiz goes to collect him, before heading to a quiet location for a picnic.
John's been inside for quite a while, so you'll have to excuse the final picture of this selection. I think he has other things on his mind...
All of the scenes above will air in November.

Him and Fiz should move to the country full time
This story line is so unbelievable and is totally a waste of Fiz and Chesney's acting abilities. Hope they kill it off or better still stape off soon!

I never thought of that but the only way that this storyline can move on is if John and Fiz move away from the street or John is killed off as I can't see how John could fit back into the community after everything he has put everyone through.
In soapland, former enemies suddenly get on quite well, John will be accepted by the Corrie neighbours before long.

Even the Websters will tolerate him, even if they will never be friends. :)

CORRIE'S Fiz shares a hot drink from her flask with her man John Stape - and for once he's not wearing a jumpsuit.
The redhead (Jennie McAlpine) whisks her jailbird hubby off for a picnic when he is released in scenes to air next month.

After all Rawsie got a sports Car, an investment it the Knicker factory  as well as sending Sally and Kevin on hols as a result of John Stapes money.

Thats what I don't understand in some ways I would be upset if my daughter went through all that trauma and Sally and Kevin were. Once Rosie got the money from her kidnapper it was like they forgot about all that and focused on the money. Now John is about to be released from prison Sally wants to mount a campaign against him. Why not give John back him money and cut him out of their lives forever?
There is not much money left to give back to John, Rosie has spent most of it and we know what is going to happen to her investment in Underworld, don't we? And his return add to the storylines with Fiz and Ches

Did John give Rosie all the money from the sale of the house? Did he not keep any for himself?
No, he gave her all £150,000. John should be pretty broke now.
Hannelene
07-10-2009, 10:15
Oh did he? I thought that he kept something.
Did he give her the money thinking she would use it to provide herself with an education?
He wanted her to do something useful with it and make something of her life, yes.

By the time he is released from prison Rosie will be broke!

She will be because Luke takes all her money.
By the time he is released from prison Rosie will be broke!
She can always sell her car and some of her designer handbags

Like she would sell her car:rolleyes:
Ahh, yes, but you don't get much for second hand goods, do you?
LalaGaga
07-10-2009, 12:37
Haha no
Well whatever happens with her after Luke takes her money will be quit entertaining to watch ( She will have nothing!)
She can always sell her car and some of her designer handbags
Like she would sell her car:rolleyes:
If she has no money of course she would sell her car:rolleyes:
Ahh, yes, but you don't get much for second hand goods, do you?
I agree although there are quite a few shops which specialise in buying designer goods. After all desperate times need desperate measures

And when I say nothing I mean that she will not have her share in the factory.
Luke sells Rosie's shares of Underworld.
Look at Monday's 19 October [2]

Luke will leave Rosie without anything when he leaves the street. As much as I don't like Luke I like the way he has conned Rosie
No, he gave her all £150,000. John should be pretty broke now.
As far as I can remember the house was sold for £ 250,000 so he should still have a nice nest egg

I thought he only gave Rosie a fraction from the house sale so there should be some money left maybe enough for him to start a new life with Fiz?
I am sure he sold the house for £150,000 and gave Rosie all the money from the sale of the house, he did not want a penny to ease his guilt. I remember thinking that I would have kept some money back for when I get out of prison, but then I probably would not have felt as guilty as John did for keeping Rosie away from the Street for a few weeks :D

I just couldn't believe the amount of cash he did give her as she isn't worth a penny!
I emailed ITV about the amount of money John gave to Rosie and whether he kept any money and this is the reply that I got:
Thank you for your e-mail, John gave £150k to Rosie and the remainder of the inheritance to his parents. Best Wishes, David Nugent, Coronation Street.
So John does not have any money when he comes out of prison. :(
Hannelene
07-10-2009, 15:09
He gave her everything :(
Now he has nothing. I am surprised he did that. I wonder what he expects to do for work.
He worked as a taxi driver for a while, perhaps he can start with Streetcars again or how behind the bar in the Rover as pot man?
Hannelene

No one would want him in the pub so I guess back to streetcars it is

So true when their scenes come on I usually switch off
It would be a very boring show if we all liked and disliked the same characters, not much fun on here agreeing with each other all the time either. :)
