Writing on her blog, the 24-year-old singer has vowed there will not be a follow-up to her second album It's Not Me, It's You.
Despite a string of widely-acclaimed festival performances this summer, she also said she has no plans to play live again.
The threat could be linked to her ongoing campaign to protect musicians from the effects of illegal file-sharing.
Despite rising to fame on the web, the star has hit out at fans who download music for free. She said music piracy is a "disaster" for emerging artists.
Allen has called for a summit to be attended by artists, record companies, internet service providers and the Government to discuss the industry's future.
shame i liked her
