Noah is played by Jack Downham, the little boy who is currently in the Whiskas advert ' I Love my Cat', he was in Heartbeat and he will play Robin Hood as a boy in the new film due for release next year, starring Russel Crowe.

Emmerdale's Jessie Grant fears the wrath of the Dingle family next week as she's forced to take action against Noah.

Charity's teenage son is starting to rebel as he's struggling with the mysterious disappearance of his older brother Joe Tate and also feels neglected by his mum.

Noah recently stole alcohol and next week we'll also see him involved in a joyriding incident with Leanna Cavanagh and Amelia Spencer that quickly spirals out of control.

In the run-up to Christmas, Jessie (Sandra Marvin) makes the tough decision to exclude Noah from school as punishment for his bad behaviour.

Jessie is well aware that her work decision could soon clash with her home life, as she's currently in a relationship with Marlon (Mark Charnock) and knows that the Dingles have a strict code of loyalty.

Marlon tries his best to intervene by pleading Noah's case to Jessie, but she urges him not to get involved in this.

Jessie expects an imminent showdown with Charity (Emma Atkins) and it's not long before the two women come head-to-head.

Emmerdale star Jack Downham has opened up about his role as Noah Dingle.

Speaking about Noah's newly found romantic interest in Gabby Thomas, the actor mentioned that his character had some "work to do" before he could be in a relationship.

Noah first expressed an interest in Gabby (Rosie Bentham) when his uncle Jamie Tate asked him to go to Home Farm to spy on her earlier this year.

Speaking to Inside Soap, Jack explained that Noah is maturing and growing up, adding that Noah was "shocked" when Gabby gave him attention.

Jack said: "I think Noah is just trying to get his head around girls right now, and Gabby giving him attention shocked him a bit.

"He likes that she's older and more mature, but he doesn't understand how to go about it yet. Noah has work to do before he's ready for a girlfriend!"

Although Jack thinks the pair could be well suited, Gabby being older than Noah "complicates" things because they're both in "different situations" in their lives.

"I think they're in different situations in life, Gabby is a bit older and more mature than Noah," Jack explained.

"Also, Gabby is pregnant with Noah's uncle's baby, which complicates things!"

Jack also mentioned that he'd like to "see the Dingle" side of Noah come out more ? so far we've seen that Noah is well-meaning and often "has the right intentions".

He added: "Noah has a kind heart and often has the right intentions ? but I think every Dingle has that ruthless side to them. It would be great fun to see the Dingle come out in Noah, and witness him causing a bit of trouble around the village!"
