Feeling a bit nostalgic, I loved the nineties, especially the music of the nineties! Been on YouTube these past few days and reliving some of my favourite tunes when I was younger. Here are a few of my favourites:
YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.
YouTube - S Club 7 - S Club Party (Official Music Video) - Rachel Stevens
YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.
YouTube - Vengaboys - Boom boom boom boom.[Original].
Man, I miss the 90s! Feel free to add your own! Let's remember how amazing and cheesy the 90s were :D :cheer:

I was just thinking the exactly same thing Abbie. Frothy Pop songs seemed to be very popular then but hey sometimes that's exactly what you need.

To me the 80s was mainly new romantics, but there was other stuff about - Clapton, Pink Floyd, Bowie etc.
Also, ska and new rock n'roll stuff.
I loved the 1980s - but my hubby still calls it the decade that music forgot!

Look at the great artists produced in the 1980s:
Prince
Madonna
Michael Jackson
Rather than type them out, I've found a list online (http://digitaldreamdoor.nutsie.com/pages/best_artists80pop.html).
EDIT: And here's the list of the 90s (http://digitaldreamdoor.nutsie.com/pages/best_artists90.html)
And if you look at the top three of the 80's they are far, far, far bigger than those of the 90s

agreed.. I was watching a documentary on Prince V Jackson when I was in Germany.. something I didn't know is that "Bad" was suppose to be a duet with the two of them but prince turned Jackson down...

Yes, as Prince says he wasn't going to sing "your ass is mine" (or vice versa) to MJ :rotfl:

I think with the 80's the music was so cheesy and bad that it was good
I wonder how many pop bands there were in the 90's

LOVE Wiggy!!!
So do I. I remember before that was a hit in the UK I was in Ibiza and it was played everywere and everyone was dancing to it. When we came home it was no 1 on TOTPs I was yelling at the tv that's the song from Ibiza and I started to sing and dance to it. Mother thought I had lost my marbles. :rotfl:
