    Corrie Spoilers Week 3

    Monday, 12 January 2009, 7:30PM - 8:00PM

It is the day of Molly (Vicky Binns) and Tyrone’s (Alan Halsall) wedding and everyone is feeling the strain. Molly won’t let Aunty Pam (Kate Anthony) leave her side she’s so nervous but she’s oblivious to Pam’s unease about getting Tyrone roped into her latest scam.

Tyrone meanwhile is not having a good day – first he gets a call from the dove agency to say the doves have befallen a nasty accident and then the harpist gets stuck in traffic. But these hitches seem like minor blips when he turns up for the handover of the dodgy sunglasses – only to find himself face to face with a copper.

Peter (Chris Gascoyne) has invited Leanne (Jane Danson) over to watch a DVD with him and Simon (Alexander Bain), and buys a couple of pizzas and some wine in anticipation of the evening but when Leanne is late he decides to make a start on the wine himself.

Steve (Simon Gregson) is angry with himself and fed up that he has lost Becky (Katherine Kelly) – he suggests to Michelle (Kym Marsh) that they should go to Ireland for a few days prompting his mum to tell him to sort his love life out once and for all.

This episode is written by Jonathan Harvey and produced by Kim Crowther, the director by Alan Wareing.

    Monday 12 January 8.30pm

Tyrone (Alan Halsall) is staring disaster in the face as he finds himself arrested for handling stolen goods. With very little time left to get to the church Jack (William Tarmey) steps in to help and manages to bribe the policeman to let Tyrone go and get married on the proviso that he will go to the police station after the ceremony. Oblivious to the drama that is unfolding across town Molly (Vicky Binns) is in for a surprise of her own when she discovers a horse drawn carriage waiting to take her to the church. She’s thrilled that Tyrone has gone to such lengths to give her a day to remember. And he continues to do just that when she arrives at the church and, overcome by keeping the secret of his arrest from her, he promptly faints at the alter!

Leanne (Jane Danson) talks to Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride) and discovers that Peter (Chris Gascoyne) has gone to a great deal of effort to plan a nice evening for the two of them. His thoughtfulness pays off though and it isn’t long before he and Leanne are kissing passionately.

Anna (Debbie Rush) asks Gary (Mikey North) to take down the Christmas lights as she is sick of the earache she is getting off Gail (Helen Worth). Tina (Michelle Keegan) is not best pleased when Gary arrives at the house and asks if he can get into the bedrooms to dismantle the lights. But it isn’t long before he starts to charm her and persuades her to make hi a cup of tea – against her better judgement Tina finds herself warming to him.

Liz (Beverly Callard) tells Steve (Simon Gregson) that if he loves Becky (Jetherine Kelly) he should finish with Michelle (Kym Marsh) as she deserves better – meanwhile Becky tells a persistent Jason (Ryan Thomas) that she always finds herself second best and that Sarah will always be his number one.
