The new titles is a pretty new concept. Something never before seen on neighbours. Wonder what this could be?
Thanks gilly. I`m looking forward to the new eps, and the new intros.
I wonder what Sonya storyline will be when Eve exits to have her baby? her baby bump looked quite prominent in last week's Neighbours at Oz pace, so I bet it won`t be long before she gives birth.

Sonya goes to look after Callum after he hurts himself. Eve gave birth to her daughter at the end of November.

    Thanks gilly. Congrats to Eve.
I thought the stalker storyline would have led to Sonias exit. It`s good that Callum gets a mention as it makes the plot more believable.

    Neighbours goes nuclear
We reveal why 2015 is set to be Ramsay Street's biggest year yet!

Think you've seen it all from those beloved guys and gals next door? Think again! With Neighbours celebrating it's 30th anniversary this year, the cast and crew are set to dominate 2015 with more surprises, fresh faces and drama than you can poke an Erinsborough street sign at.

Producer Jason Herbison sat down with TV Week to fill us in on what we might expect this year. Promising shocks, surprises, break-ups and hook-ups, it's set be be an unforgettable ride.

    Happy birthday, Neighbours
It's one thing to celebrate a milestone but a 30th anniversary is major. It deserves a bit more than a party.

We're celebrating in a big way with events through the year," Jason explains, adding there are key events coming up in March.

"We're holding an Erinsborough Festival, which is a cultural even with several highlights.

"It also provides a great umbrella to celebrate the show and it's history. It gives us an excuse to parade former beloved cast members around town.""For the March 18 anniversary, the brains behind the show decided to pull out the big guns.

They're bringing back a host of much-loved characters, including Madge and Harold (Anne Charleston and Ian Smith).

We can also thank Jackie Woodburne, aka Susan Kennedy. "About a year ago, Jackie mentioned Anne might be interested in coming back," Jason explains.

"From that little conversation, we came up with a really lovely story about reuniting Harold and Madge for a five-week arc that viewers will really love."

How Madge will make her return is yet to be revealed.

"Madge comes back in very dramatic circumstances," Jason teases. "She has quite an impact on Harold and the lives of several people in Ramsay Street."

To make the most of the celebrations, the producers also created a special anniversary documentary, which includes an appearance from Kylie Minogue reflecting on her time on Neighbours. Guy Pearce and Jason Donovan also feature.

"Kylie takes part in the 30th celebrations," Jason confirms.

"We've got the anniversary special coming up and she will be part of it all, that's for sure."

    Fresh faces
It wouldn't be right if a couple of new neighbours didn't pop around to borrow sugar every now and then. Jason and his team ensure we'll be meeting a new character or two in 2015.

"Tyler Brennan (Travis Burns) will make his first appearance this year," Jason says. He's a bit of a bad boy and he comes to Erinsborough to reconnect with [his brother] Mark (Scott McGregor).

He soon lands in a lot of trouble, which will put him at odds with his brother."

Wait, there's more. "Possibly later on in the year, we're looking to bring in other members of the Brennan family," Jason says. "It's going to be a big year for them!"

    Love angles
Will there be a love triangle? Or prehaps even a love quadrangle? According to Jason, it's both!

"We have the adult love triangle between the Turner parents and the Willis parents, he says.

"That will move into a whole new chapter in the coming year. We can expect to see that really heat up."

    Don't forget about the kids.

"We've also got the younger version of that going on, too, which is Josh (Harley Bonner), Amber (Jenna Rosenow), Imogen (Ariel Kaplan) and Daniel (Tim Phillips).

"That also heats up and has a few surprising outcomes."

Jason says even Mark and Naomi (Morgana O'Reilly) get a taste of love in the next few months.

"Mark has a new romance that might surprise people and so does Naomi," he says. "We've got a mix of new loves and established romances in turmoil."

    Plotting along
Producer Jason Herbison spills on upcoming storylines.

Erin (Adrienne Pickering) will stick around for a while. Sonya (Eve Morey) wants to reunite Erin with her daughter Cat. She feels a sense of obligation to Erin, so it's a personal crusade. While Toadie (Ryan Moloney) is trying to be supportive of Sonya, he's very worried about her.

The incident with Susan (Jackie Woodburne) was a wake-up call for Nate (Meyne Wyatt). He'll seek professional help to get back on his feet but he's a loose cannon and those issues could pop up at any time. We'll see a lighter side of his character soon, though.

Paul (Stefan Dennis) will have issues with a guest character related to someone else on the street. They have a major storyline. Let's just say Paul will really meet his match! It's very juicy and something I don't think we've done in Neighbours before.

    Next time on Neighbours
Thought 2014 was pretty full-on? Just you wait...

When we left Erinsborough, tensions were running high. Instead of celebrating what was meant to be a perfect Christmas Day, our favourite Ramsay Street locals were feuding with their families, taking surprise work trips and mulling their way through heartbreak.

While 2014 was a year of mystery, intrigue and the occassional spot of hilarity, 2015 promises to be bigger and better in every way - not to mentions the long-running soap will be celebrating it's massive 30th anniversary!

Hang on to your hats, ladies and gents, this is gonna be good.

    Happy birthday, Erinsborough!
That's right, Neighbours has officially been on our screens for 30 years. What better way to celebrate than to create an anniversary storyline that's packed with surprise guest stars?

Producers have even filmed a TV special with current and past Neighbours actors (we're talking Kylie Minogue), who all reflect on their time on Ramsay Street.

Alan Fletcher, who plays our favourite on-screen doctor Karl Kennedy, spills the beans on what's it's been like to be part of such a monumental occasion.

"It's been extraordinary," Alan, 57, says. "First the 20th anniversary of the Kennedys, then the 7000th episode - which was hysterical - and now the 30th anniversary. It's almost like playing a season of football, where the 30th anniversary becomes the grand final.

"It's just so special. On top of that, we've got the 30th anniversary documentary, with enormous stars coming back to talk. "So, everyone is coming back to make it the biggest time I can remember being on Neighbours.

"Kyle, Jason [Donovan], Guy [Pearce] and Delta [Goodrem], will pop up in the documentary, which is massively exciting."

    Look out for...
Some series guest stars! It was only logical that Neighbours would bring back two key players for a particularly big event. For this very special occasion, Ian Smith and Anne Charleston will reprise their roles of Harold and Madge.

Colette Mann, who plays Sheila, fills us in on their return and working with the two Erinsborough favourites.

"I've had a lot of work to do with Harold and Madge," Colette says. "It's been great!"

"There have been a lot of scenes with us together. I'd previously worked with Ian when he was on Prisoner and then later when he was a script editor for many years.

"Until now, I'd never worked with him on Neighbours specifically. "I'd only ever seen Anne on stage when I was a drama student, so it was really exciting to be working with her," Colette says.

"Bringing her back to the show was going to be tough but it's a lovely storyline. They've done a really good job with it."

For Sheila, 2015 is going to be full steam ahead - especially at the Erinsborough Festival, which is an important part of the 30th-anniversary celebrations.

"I've been very busy with a weight-loss competition and a bake-off with that hideous Susan Kennedy!" Colette jokes.

"Sheila's recovered from her heart attack, even though she almost has another one during the festival. It's only so she can see the new doctor."

    New doc on the block
Speaking of a new doctor... When Karl finds himself involved in a medical drama, it's new character Dr Nick (Damien Fotiou) who sizzles on screen. Appearing as Terese's (Rebekah Elmaloglou) brother, the charming young thing isn't all he seems.

"Dr Karl is completely enamoured of Dr Nick," Alan previews.

"He's a high-profile specialist and Karl is desperate to get him to Erinsborough Hospital. As a result, he actually enlists Paul (Stefan Dennis).

"Unbeknown to Karl, who's a bit gullible in these matters, Nick and Paul both have a slightly Machiavellian streak and there are going to be fireworks."

Dr Nick's even got his eye on Georgia, according to Saskia Hampele.

"Georgia is wooed and spellbound by this new character who, unbeknown to her, has a wager with Paul to get her into bed," Saskia says.

"Georgia has always been a character who's really believed in people and sees the best in people. That naivery can sometimes get her into a bit of a pickle because other people can take advantage of it.

"I'd like to see her rise above that and use all of the wisdom she's gained through her experiences with her cousin to deal with this situation in a more refined and mature manner."

    Baby boom
That's not all for Saskia. It looks like popular couple Georgia and Kyle (Chris Milligan) might be trying for a baby!

"We'll see Kyle really wanting to have a baby and Georgia feeling scared about trying again after their miscarriage," Saskia reveals/

"They're really working through stuff in a mature way, supporting and caring for each other. They're really in love.

"There's a trust that was broken for a while but is now really strong. So, I'd really like for them to have a kid - or at least for Georgia to get pregnant. That'd be nice."

    Surprise wedding
We're going to the chapel and we're going to get married! That's right, it's the wedding of the year! Two of our favourites decide to tie the knot and what's more, they have the ceremony in the same church Harold and Madge married in years before.

This is Soapie Land and nothing ever goes to plan.

Who's getting hitched? Will this big day end in disaster?

    Wishful thinking
It's been a tough few months for Toadie (Ryan Moloney), what with Erin's (Adrienne Pickering) hate-mail campaign and Sonya (Eve Morey) struggling big-time to deal with the consequences. Ryan, 35, has uncovered a way Toadie can finally get a chance to relax.

"I'd like Toadie to go to Fiji," he smiles.

"That would be nice. Maybe he can become a pilot, too - and then all my flying would be tax-deductable. That would be great!"

Er, yeah, Ryan, sounds totally feasible.

    Rollercoaster of emotions
Lauren (Kate Kendall) has been through a lot of ups and downs over the past few months. It doesn't look set to stop any time soon.

"It's going to be a definite year of change for Lauren," Kate, 41, says. "Her kids have grown up and her family situation has been completely turned on it's head.

"They've had the whole house issue and her relationship with Matt (Josef Brown).. there's a lot of grief and you know, how do you assess your world when all these terrible things have happened? We don't want to watch her in tears the whole time, though."

The writers certainly have created dramatic peaks for Lauren, which Kate loves.

"She does go from high moments to very low ones," she says. "Hopefully, she's going to have a year of change and then a year of enlightenment - a year of fun!"

    Plotting along
We reveal some hot plots to sink your Neighbours fangs into.

    Plot 1
Things heat up between Amber (Jenna Rosenow), Daniel (Tim Phillipps) and Imogen (Ariel Kaplan). When it's revealed to Amber that Daniel and Imogen have kissed, there will be trouble. What Daniel doesn't know is that Josh (Harley Bonner) is still relentlessly pursuing Amber and has declared his love for her! Will Amber choose to be alone or patch things up with Daniel? Or will she fall for Josh?

    Plot 2
Chris (James Mason), who was bruatally punched by a drunk Josh (Harley Bonner), is forced to accept he'll never work as a mechanic again. His damaged hand is just too much of a liability. What will he do now for a living?

    Plot 3
When Lucy (Melissa Bell) returns to the scene for Paul's (Stefan Dennis) birthday, Chris has to decide if he does, in fact, want to have a baby with her. Chris is enthusiastic but Nate (Meyne Wyatt) is not. Chris has some major decisions to make - become a father and lose Nate or keep Nate and potentially lose his chance to be a dad.

    Plot 4

    Plot 6
After the pages of the finished The Book Of Secrets are misplaced, chaos ensues and Lou (Tom Oliver) quickly decides to retire EM Williams to avoid an more trouble. What about the fame and fortune? Tough break, Lou...

    Plot 7
After a botched logo on the banner for the Erinsborough Festival, Paige stages a topless protest, enlisting Imogen to her cause. Will the girls be able to go through with getting their gear off? Or will Terese show solidarity in a surprise move and join Paige?

It doesn't say Mark & Naomi hook up. It says they both have new romances.

In the promo, it shows Naomi trying to kiss Mark but he rejects her.

A couple of photos on Neighbours instagram as well have people thinking they hook up.

IF they do hook up, it doesn't last long. Mark is single by the time the Erinsborough Festival arrives in March.
