Sarah is back in town and Susan is not happy about it. What on earth is the question Sarah wants to ask former lover Karl?
Sarah Beaumont caused plenty of trouble for Karl and Susan Kennedy in the past when she fell in love with Karl and the pair embarked on a scandalous affair. While Karl and Susan have moved on and made their marriage stronger than ever they are rattled by Sarah’s surprise visit to Erinsborough and deseperate to know why she is here and whether she will cause trouble.
The first sign Sarah (Nicola Charles) is up to something is when she moves in to Ramsay Streeet lodging at Sheila’s (Colette Mann) house. Even though Susan (Jackie Woodburne) trusts that Karl (Alan Fletcher) wouldn’t let anything happen again she is far from pleased that Sarah has moved nearby. Susan decides to confront Sarah to find out what she wants but all Sarah will say is she wanted Karl’s advice about something but doesn’t need it any more, leaving Susan even more mystified as to what game Sarah is playing.
Sarah’s presence causes tension for Karl and Susan as Karl goes to great lengths to prove he’s keeping away from Sarah. Even Toadie (Ryan Moloney) is worried about Sarah’s intentions and warns his old friend not to pester the Kennedys but she is adamant she wants to make peace with Susan and discuss something with Karl. Trying to get Susan on board, Sarah asks for the opportunity to speak with Karl but Susan refuses, having already given her plenty of chances to talk to him. Later Karl tries to tell Sarah to back off but she bursts into tears and asks Karl is he is with Susan for the long haul.
To Karl the bizarre question seems like some kind of proposition and when he tells Susan she confronts Sarah who insists it was a misunderstanding. Susan’s had enough and as she tries to rush off she accidentally catches Sarah’s hand in her car door, injuring it. At the hospital Karl tries to give her treatment and assess the damage with an X-ray but Sarah refuses and is forced to finally reveal her shocking secret to Karl and forces him to stay quiet. Why is Sarah so desperate to hide the truth?

As far whether or not he confessed to Susan, there seems to be some confusion there
I think the story must have changed to them sleeping together to make the future more interesting. Nothing like that was seen or hinted at in the past though.

Does sound like something serious for Sarah.

From what l was able to find out it seems that the viewers in the 90's, when Sarah left the soap after marrying Peter, were left without clear answer whatever there was anything more that a kiss or two. It seems that Karl admitted it to someone in 2005 and it was for sure confirmed by Sarah and Karl in 2013 that they slept together. At first Karl checked with Sarah that she must never tell Susan about it. But later Karl changed his mind. He decided to tell Susan everything in the hope that they can start over with a clean slate.

Neighbours airs heartbreaking scenes in today's episode (May 4) as Sarah Beaumont leaves her teenage son Angus with the Kennedys.

Sarah (Nicola Charles) is heading abroad to receive treatment for cancer, and as seen in the clip below, she decides to leave Angus in the trusty care of Karl and Susan.

The new preview clip shows Sarah saying an emotional goodbye to Angus, before thanking Karl and Susan for taking care of him.

While the good-natured couple are happy to take Angus under their wing, the feeling may not apply to their grandson Ben, who will find himself bitterly clashing with the troubled teen in upcoming episodes. Will the pair be able to put their differences to one side?

Neighbours airs these scenes today (Wednesday, May 4) at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.

‘Neighbours’ update: Nicola Charles says her character won’t return to the show, hints Sarah might be killed off

This week, followers of the long-running Australian soap “Neighbours” got excited to see Sarah Beaumont in a couple of episodes, believing that she’s back.

However, Nicola Charles, who plays Sarah, said her appearance was only temporary, as there are no plans for her character to return to the show. The 46-year-old British-Australian actress got candid with her Twitter fans after being asked of Sarah’s future on “Neighbours.”

When one fan asked whether Charles has ended her stint with the soap opera, she replied, “Yes, there are no plans for Sarah to return.” She also said that it wasn’t her choice, and even hinted that her character could even be killed off-screen.

Fans showered Charles with words of encouragement and support, with some even pleading to Network Eleven to bring back Sarah for good.

This week, Sarah headed back to Ramsay Street after undergoing treatment to cure her cancer. She went back for her son, Angus (Jai Waetford), who’s been living under the roof of Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne) and Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher).

Sarah invited Angus to go with her in Germany, but Angus refused at first, thinking he’s responsible for his mum’s illness and believing he’ll hinder her full recovery.

However, after a heartfelt talk with Sarah, Angus decided to be with her and make up for lost time.

While Sarah reported to the Kennedys that her health is improving, it might take a turn for the worse, based on Charles’ tweet. It seems she’s sharing her fans’ sentiments, as she had earlier expressed her desire for Sarah to be back in Erinsborough for good.

“Personally, I think it would be a crying shame if we didn't see Sarah again,” she said in an interview with Inside Soap. "But of course, I'm horribly biased!”

She added that she hoped for Sarah, Angus and her daughter Antigone to buy a house on Ramsay Street and find romance. She gushed, “The viewer support for Sarah this time round has just been amazing - and I want more!”

Find out what happens next on “Neighbours,” which airs Monday to Friday at 6.30pm on Network Eleven in Australia. In the UK, “Neighbours” airs during weekdays on Channel 5.
