This is a system fault, you can prevent double posts by using the Go Advanced option when you post

    Wouldn't that be nice!

For every story you see reported about a rape claim and the reaction that the accuser is lying try to find a case where someone reported an item stolen, or vandalism and see how many people react that the accuser is lying.
Yes, it's very telling to consider the situation from that perspective.

I read a report from CPS here in the UK a while back analysing rape accusations and conviction rates. As you say, the percentage of false rape claims is very, very small. Also, the females who make false accusations tend to be vulnerable women with a history of being sexually abused, not the cold-hearted, malicious gold-diggers they're usually portrayed as in the media.

I think the Xanthe assault and Cooper's own abuse story line's would of been better being done separately or at least different times or not have Cooper be both things perpetrator and victim here merging them in to one story over less than a week took something away from them both especially Xanthe's. Xanthe still should of got & wanted some justice and the assault on her being suddenly brushed aside as a consequence of Copper's abuse felt a bit off to me.

Also having Tyler a child abuse victim himself reach out to help another was really good to see and they were moving scenes but again rushing it over one episode was a shame I would of liked that explored a bit more.

I was furious from the outset when the first thing Elly said to Xanthe was "what did you do to make him so mad?" because when a guy gets angry it's always something the girl did, it couldn't possibly be that the guy is an abusive jerk.
