Monday 5th December:
The Dingles are appalled Belle is set to leave for Boston with Jermaine Bailey. Zak implores her not to go but she insists it’s the right decision. The Dingles start to plot how to stop her leaving. Soon Cain takes matters into his own hands when on a country lane he stops the car and orders Belle to get in. But will Cain’s methods work to get Belle to remain? Soon Lisa returns and is shocked to hear for the first time Belle is going to America.
Jimmy and Nicola’s relationship woes worsen when she says she’s called a solicitor. Later, Rodney and Laurel reassure Jimmy that Nicola won’t really want a divorce. Nicola overhears Kerry and Brenda gossiping and Kerry tells her she started all the problems by kissing Dan. Later, Jimmy tells Nicola he’s going away for a month to give them space Nicola is utterly heartbroken to realise their marriage might be over for good.
Finn prepares to seek out Kasim. Pete worries he’ll get hurt but Emma insists he needs to distract himself from grief. Later, Finn returns distraught Kasim’s been discharged and he’s lost him. But has he? Rhona is proud of Pierce when he doesn’t rise to Liv’s taunting.
Tuesday 6th December 2016
The timing of the impending departure changes when Jermaine Bailey learns his job starts earlier than expected. Belle insists she’s happy but Lisa is questioning. The Dingle’s continue to plot to stop Belle moving to America. And throw a surprise party for Belle, hoping to convince her to stay. Will the Dingle plan work?
Tracy’s moved to learn Kasim is in the village looking for the man who saved his life. Later Kasim and Finn finally meet, properly. And soon the awake Kasim seems even better than his fantasy.
Laurel receives a call to say Gabby’s skipping school but later learns where Gabby has been whilst absconding. Vanessa suggests Rhona should tell Pierce she’s missing being intimate with him. Rhona plans a trip away with Pierce and shops for some surprises.
Wednesday 7th December
Kasim invites Finn for lunch. But when Pete spots him he warns Finn, secrets always come out in the end. Finn agrees he’ll tell Kasim how he was regularly visiting him in hospital. Later, as Finn prepares to tell Kasim the truth Kasim pulls him in for a spontaneous kiss. Finn is in raptures his dream is coming true and further delighted when Kasim announces he’s going to stick around for a bit. Kater, Finn’s horror-struck when Emma meets Kasim and says she wants to hear everything, fearing she’ll reveal all. Will Finn manage to tell him himself before someone else lets it slip?
Lisa and Zak reassure her they’re on Belle’s side whatever she chooses to do.
Laurel tells Gabby she shouldn’t have to take on the burden of her Dad’s illness alone and encourages her to let go and be happy. Gabby misinterprets Laurel’s advice with a boozy plan. Rhona tries to give Pierce an early Christmas present but is horrified to see it wasn’t what she bought. Meanwhile, Paddy gives Chas her present and she’s also shocked with the gift.
Thursday 8th December:
Laurel’s upset Ashley wants day-care rather than her. Whilst Gabby is drinking away her upset as she and Liv are on a mission to get steaming drunk at the cricket pavilion. At the hut, Liv dares Gabby and Liv videos her antics and promptly posts the video online. Later, Laurel is perturbed when Tracy shows her the video. But matters take a turn for the worse when after having been found being sick, Gabby suddenly collapses and is rushed to hospital.
Pete feels guilty and encourages Finn to find Kasim and explain. Whilst Emma tracks Kasim down herself.
Rhona probes Paddy’s feelings for Chas and later sets them up on a date in order to get them to talk but will it work? Lisa’s surprised to learn Zak and Joanie are moving to Leeds. Later, Charity turns up to cheer Belle up and Lisa probes her about Zak moving.
Thursday 8th Decembe 8PM::
At the hospital, the doctor tells a relieved Laurel, Gabby will be alright. But soon it all goes wrong for Laurel and Ashley when Ashley in a confused state accidentally hits Laurel after arguing with her. Laurel is distraught. Ashley bursts into tears when he realises what he’s done. Later on Main Street, Laurel, Gabby and Ashley return during the Christmas lights switch on at the village. Bernice is shocked to see the state of them. Later, after such a rough day, Laurel makes a decision over Ashley’s on-going care.
When an upset Belle comes across Liv hiding she takes her under her wing and warns her to delete the video of Gabby. Liv pretends nonchalance but secretly worries about the fallout. Later, Liv’s contrite when she learns Gabby went to hospital and apologises. Robert suggests it will blow over but Aaron’s not so sure. Later once Bernice has comforted Gabby and sent her to bed she picks up the phone to take matters further.
Emma encourages Finn and Kasim to talk. Can Finn make it up to Kasim? Lisa urges Joanie and Zak not to leave.. Chas suggests she and Paddy go for a boozy lunch, skiving off from work.

Laurel’s determined to manage without day care. However, her stress increases when a visit from Bernice flusters Ashley. Sandy insists Laurel have a break which she gratefully accepts, leaving Sandy to look after Ashley and Dotty. Soon Laurel is unwinding with Nicola but her mood is dampened when she returns home to find a bewildered Ashley outside in his pyjamas. Laurel’s day goes from bad to worse as she struggles to cope and Ashley is almost knocked down when he steps in front of Diane’s car. At her wits end, Laurel lies to a confused Ashley it’s time for bed, and puts him to bed early, but Ashley becomes distressed.
Chas is unnerved when a police officer and social worker arrive to speak to Aaron. Liv’s defensive and unrepentant. Despite a police warning. Chas agrees with Bernice that Liv needs sorting out, but Bernice threatens to get her alcohol license revoked for supplying her with the booze. Furious, Chas makes a decision.
Moira puts on a brave face that Hannah’s not coming back for Christmas. Later, Emma comforts her but Zak’s unimpressed at Emma’s interference in Moira’s life. Cain’s worried Emma wants to take the farm and Zak’s determined to make sure that doesn’t happen. Pollard wants what he’s owed from Frank but will he get it? Later, Leyla’s anxious to see Frank teaching Jacob a card con trick.
