    Exclamation EastEnders Spoilers 3rd - 7th October 2016

EastEnders' Pam Coker is desperate for answers next month as she has a secret meeting with the mother of one of Paul's killers.

Pam (Lin Blakley) makes a very risky decision when she asks to visit Diane Atmore, whose son Simon has been charged with Paul's murder.

Even though her husband Les has warned her not to interfere ahead of the trial, Pam wants to make sense of why Paul was killed and thinks Diane can provide the explanation she needs.

When Diane surprises her by agreeing to the meeting, Pam braces herself and heads off to see her at a local cafe - with moral support from her friend Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth).

As the two women come face-to-face again, things start civilly enough as they discuss what Paul and Simon were like as children. However, the mood soon changes when Pam starts interrogating Diane about why Simon did what he did.

Will Pam get the explanation she's so desperate for, or will this only cause more problems? With the possibility that she could be jeopardising the court case and with Les totally in the dark over what she's doing, Pam is certainly playing with fire...

EastEnders airs these scenes on Tuesday, October 4 at 7.30pm on BBC One.

    Monday

Ian asks Stacey to help give Jane a boost, so Stacey speaks to Jane and suggests going for a makeover at Elysium. Carmel spends time with Jane at the salon and suggests they should both go for a drink at the pub together.

It seems that things are slowly getting back to normal for Jane, as she's back to her old self and interacting with Albert Square's residents again. However, things quickly take a turn for the worse when there's an incident at The Vic and Ian has to take Jane home. Afterwards, Jane notices that Ian is distancing himself from her. Is their marriage in serious trouble?

Meanwhile, Linda gives Babe her last chance to pay back the blackmail money to the Cokers.

When Babe gets distracted by helping Lee with something at the pub, it leaves Linda livid that Babe is ignoring her warnings and she kicks her out. However, there's a twist in store when Linda learns something she wasn't expecting. Will Linda be successful when she tries to find out why Babe ever blackmailed the Cokers in the first place?

Elsewhere, the Cokers give Billy some exciting news, while Pam faces her own surprise when Simon's mum agrees to a meeting.

    Tuesday

Today is the day that Pam is planning to visit Diane, whose son Simon murdered Paul, and she refuses to listen when Honey warns that it isn't a good idea. However, Pam does get some unexpected support from Kathy, who offers to be by her side when the meeting takes place.

When Pam comes face-to-face with Diane at a local cafe, she interrogates her about Simon's actions. Will she get the answers she's looking for, or will it all end in tears?

Meanwhile, Jane is upset further when Ian refuses to talk about their current problems. When Ian confides in Billy about what's going on, Billy's words make a surprising impact.

Elsewhere, Carmel tells Donna that she's not ready for a man.

    Thursday

Ben is furious when Kathy tells him that she and Pam went to meet Simon's mother Diane. It doesn't take long for Ben to discover that Les has no idea what Pam has been up to.

Later, once Les knows the truth, he warns Pam that she could have just jeopardised the entire trial. How will Pam feel as the reality of her actions hits home?

Meanwhile, Steven panics when Jane tries to get more involved with the day-to-day running of the restaurant. Steven suggests that Jane's wheelchair is causing problems, so she gets upset and asks Ian to take her home. But will this really be the end of the matter?

Elsewhere, Lee has a job interview coming up.

    Friday

The plea hearing is taking place today and the Cokers should be united, but Les is refusing to make amends with Pam after she secretly met up with Simon's mother.

When Les and Pam head to court, will Simon and the other culprits behind Paul's death plead guilty or not guilty?

Meanwhile, things are looking up at the Queen Vic as Lee gives Whitney a gift and Mick offers his son some money.

The mood does turn sour, though, when Whitney hears that her hen night is going to be a sophisticated event. Surely that won't do?
