Hasn't it already been ruined? Moira used to be such a sweet innocent housewife I loved her relationship with John. But Moira has a reputation of getting bored in her relationships and sleeping around she is a slapper. But Moira seems to like to keep it in the family. Cain can sense the sexual attraction between Pete and Moira is mutual.

It was really random and stupid. I can't really see a place for Pete just now in the show, He's just a bit of a spare part at the moment. It's also really strange that James seems more concerned lately and has more involvement with Adam than his other sons?

I think it's unlikely that's the last we see of Pete Emmerdale always give departing cast members farewell videos on their website when they go, that was the biggest clue Ross was still alive when he didn't get one with his fake death, Pete is a bit of a spare part granted, but then so is Finn as well who is nothing more than an extra these days hope that changes soon for him.

Oh I don't expect he's gone for good. Maybe a few months break.

Yes true about Finn aswell. Haven't enjoyed his stories much recently. He's better than what he has been given. His friendship with Vic is hardly shown these days either.

This is where the new producer comes in Iain McLeod needs to give Finn and Pete more to do. Kate Oates only focused on Michael Parr and that hurts the show. The Barton family should NOT revolve around Michael Parr. This new producer has a lot of work to do. Finn definitely needs his own stroyline. Why can't there be more than just one gay storyline on the show?

Finn is basically an extra he just moped around listening to Pete or Ross problems and he is being wasted. The audience knows nothing about Finn. Finn needs to get messy and stop being so perfect.

The show hardly revolves around Michael Parr. MP wasn't even in the top 5 most featured from the total of episodes of 2015.

    Character appearance count for 2015

    Chas - 191
    Robert - 173
    Chrissie - 157
    Aaron - 157
    Diane - 157
    Debbie - 156
    Ross - 154

There were lots of big storylines that didn't included Ross:
    - Kirin/Adam paternity lie
    - Ashley's dementia
    - Chas' ptsd
    - Diane's cancer
    - Aaron meeting his dad
    - Alicia's rape
    - Zak and Joanie
    - Robron...
    list goes on.

Either way, Emmerdale has been winning best soap for the last few major award ceremony's now so a lot of people will disagree that the show has been hurt.

Additionally, regards to Finn having a storyline, why must it be a gay storyline? Being gay doesn't make you who you are, there are so much more aspects to a person than their sexual orientation such as life experiences, job, family, luck etc.
