Why would that be such a shocking discovery his world crashes down around him? He already knows Ben did it. He was there.

Jay and Lola trash the car lot so maybe he gets arrested or Abi is staying full time on Costa Rica but more likely will be about Heather's murder

in EastEnders, Masood Ahmed is delighted as his younger brother AJ turns up in Walford.

AJ (Phaldut Sharma) makes his arrival just as Zainab is heading off to a Minute Mart brand event, which will keep her away from home for a few days.

Masood (Nitin Ganatra) doesn't want Zainab to see AJ, so he orders his sibling to wait for him at the café. Later, after saying goodbye to Zainab at the train station, Masood is able to have a proper reunion with his brother.

It soon becomes clear to Tamwar that AJ has an infectious influence on Masood, and it's just like old times for the two men as they childishly start pushing each other around the Square in a shopping trolley.

However, Derek Branning (Jamie Foreman) is not impressed when they end up crashing into his car and corners AJ, warning him that if he doesn't fix the damage, he will regret it. Will AJ be intimidated by bad boy Derek?

    Monday

Zainab is preparing to leave for a Minute Mart brand event. Just as she is about to make her departure, the doorbell rings and Masood is shocked to see that their visitor is his younger brother AJ. Masood doesn't want Zainab to see AJ, so he orders his sibling to wait for him at the café. Later, after saying goodbye to Zainab at the train station, Masood is able to have a proper reunion with his brother. It's immediately like old times for the pair, and Tamwar can see that AJ has an infectious influence on Masood!

AJ explains to Tamwar that he lives his life by the toss of a coin. When AJ flips his lucky coin to decide whether he should stay in Walford or not, it dictates that he should leave - which disappoints Masood. As Masood walks his brother to the station, he causes some mischief by jumping into a trolley and asking AJ to push him. However, they end up going too fast and crash into Derek's car, causing damage.

An angry Derek demands that AJ pays for the repairs, but AJ gets cocky with him in response. Showing his tough side, Derek punches AJ and warns Masood that he wants the car fixed…

Meanwhile, Kat hides her phone in a drawer in a bid to avoid the temptation of her mystery lover's texts. Later, however, she panics when she finds that the phone has gone missing. When Kat sees that Alfie looks disappointed, she fears that she has found her phone and seen the texts. Fortunately for her, however, Alfie is only angry because Shenice was caught with Kat's phone at school. Rattled by this close call, Kat phones her boyfriend and tells him that their relationship is over.

Elsewhere, Shirley gets the burger van up and running with some help from Andrew, and has a successful day of business. Ben and Jay also help out, but they're horrified when Shirley delivers some startling news - Andrew has now been officially cleared of all murder charges and the police can now focus on finding the real killer.

Also today, Sasha's 14th birthday celebrations are ruined when she discovers that Kim hasn't been honest about the work experience.

    Tuesday

As Jean and Andrew both help with the new business, Shirley struggles with the clash of personalities and decides to sell the burger van to Andrew. Phil then suggests that Ben should sell the stock car, making nasty remarks about his son's racing skills. Jay decides to cheer up Ben, persuading him to have one last race in the car without Phil's knowledge. Shirley joins them and the trio end up having a great time. Jay boosts Ben's self-esteem by letting him win the race, and things look even brighter when they make a big profit from the sale of the car.

Later, Phil splits the money between the boys and Jay decides to stash it upstairs. When he clumsily drops the cash and goes to pick it up, Jay is horrified by what he sees under the bed - the photo frame that killed Heather. Jay's world crumbles around him as he realises that Ben has been lying to them yet again…

Meanwhile, a nervous Syed hides his sexuality when he meets AJ. However, he later finds AJ in the café with Christian and realises that the truth is out. To Syed's relief, AJ is fully accepting of his sexuality and Christian. AJ's charm even helps him to secure a £200 loan from Christian and Syed, which will be enough to get Derek's car fixed. After deciding to stay in Walford for another night, AJ enjoys a boys' night in with Masood - but they're both in for a shock when Zainab arrives home a day early!

Elsewhere, Kat's mystery lover sends her a phone which she can use to arrange their secret liaisons without being caught. However, Kat is determined not to be tempted and throws it straight into the bin. Kat then suggests to Alfie that they could take an hour off work for some alone time, but when she goes upstairs, she finds that Shenice and Tommy have returned home early and are watching a film with Alfie. Frustrated that Alfie doesn't seem to care about their alone time being ruined, Kat retrieves the binned phone and calls her boyfriend after all.

Also today, Kim is determined to make things up to Sasha and Ray, so she convinces funeral director Mr Coker to give the teenager some work experience.

    Thursday

Jay has had a sleepless night following his discovery of the photo frame. Still disgusted with Ben, the young mechanic leaves for work early - not wanting to be around him. However, when Ben later turns up at The Arches, Jay pulls out the photo frame and demands to know why he still has it.

Although Ben tries to make excuses, Jay refuses to listen to them and storms out - heading straight for the police station. It's clear that Jay is ready to turn Ben in, but will someone prevent him from going through with it?

Meanwhile, Zainab doesn't want AJ to find out that she and Masood are no longer married, so she gets anxious when he starts asking some awkward questions about their relationship. Zainab can't wait for AJ to leave Walford today, so she is furious when Masood prolongs his brother's stay by accepting his offer of lunch at The Vic.

Later, Denise and AJ end up having a drink alone at the pub as there is an instant chemistry between them. Denise soon lets slip to AJ that Zainab and Masood are far from the perfect couple as they aren't even married. Relieved to discover that Masood doesn't have a perfect life after all, AJ soon makes a surprising confession to him - the real reason he's in Walford is that his wife has kicked him out and he has nowhere else to go.

Elsewhere, Kat claims that she is going to an evening class at the community centre - a cover story which will allow her to spend time with her mystery lover. However, her plan is thwarted when Jean insists on tagging along.

Also today, Janine finally returns home and tries to put things right with Jean by writing a cheque for the money Michael owes her - along with a bit extra

    Friday

Phil is furious when he discovers the truth from Jay and Ben, and points out that things could soon be over for them all.

Meanwhile, when AJ refuses to go to evening prayers, Zainab starts lecturing him on the importance of a devout Muslim home. However, AJ fires back by asking why she and Masood share a bedroom if they're not married. Zainab soon confronts Denise over dropping her in it with AJ, but Denise turns the tables by questioning why she is taking so long to set a date for her upcoming wedding.

Later, Masood and Zainab finally set a date for the occasion, setting aside their fears that it could upset the newly-single Tamwar. The couple then tell AJ the truth about last year's ordeal with Yusef. When AJ shows his understanding side, Zainab is touched and encourages him to work things out with his wife. Agreeing to do so, AJ says his goodbyes.

Elsewhere, Ray arranges a boys' night in for the football team, but Kim, Denise, Kat and Roxy decide to gatecrash it. They expect to find a wild party, but the scene that greets them is merely the men playing video games. Kat soon gets the party started, however, and dances closely with Ray. Alfie is present, but it's Kim who gets jealous over the situation. Ray tells Kim that she's overreacting, but as he continues to dance with Kat, is it really innocent or a sign that he is the mystery lover?

Brothers Masood and AJ rock the electric guitar during their last day together in tonight's (July 13) EastEnders.

Masood's younger sibling AJ arrived in Albert Square at the start of the month due to problems he had been having in his marriage.

Reuniting after many years, the pair have rekindled their rapport and childhood mischief, most notably in a confrontation from Walford villain Derek Branning.

Masood's fiancée Zainab, however, hasn't been so impressed with AJ's immature antics.

As he bids farewell to the Masood family, will she have a change of heart?
