Coming up in Emmerdale, the village's latest wedding doesn't go according to plan when Jai is left waiting impatiently for Charity to turn up at the registry office.

The pair's big day descends into chaos when Debbie (Charley Webb) discovers that she is finally pregnant - throwing her relationship with Cameron (Dominic Power) into turmoil. Feeling left out of what Debbie and Andy now share, Cameron leaves her devastated by deciding to end things.

Charity (Emma Atkins) finds out about her daughter's latest troubles while she's on her way to the wedding. Deciding to put Debbie first, she rushes out of the taxi and goes to find Cameron - determined to talk him round.

The feisty blonde also visits Debbie as part of her efforts, while over at the registry office, Jai (Chris Bisson) can't believe it when Charity is nowhere to be seen.

Having done all she can for Debbie and Cameron, Charity rushes off to marry Jai. But will she make it on time?

    MONDAY

Marlon is shocked when Ashley arrives at the pub and accuses him of sleeping with Laurel, telling Marlon that she has admitted it. Marlon denies the accusation and Ashley realises that he is telling the truth. Later, Ashley tells Laurel that he knows they can love each other again, but she's hurt that he had to ask Marlon before he could believe her.

Laurel tells Ashley that she was tempted by Marlon, but realises that if they are to move forward and reconcile, they will have to forgive each other. The pair make up and Ashley agrees to speak to Marlon to sort things out so they can stay in the village.

Meanwhile, Aaron has slept on Hazel's sofa and Bob is concerned about her plans to take him travelling. When Aaron goes round later, he sees that all of Hazel's boxes are packed. She finally plucks up the courage to ask him to go with her. Aaron leaves hastily and takes out his anguish by hurting himself - wanting relief from the pressure he feels.

Elsewhere, Moira's plan works when John is asked to supply the pub's meat, Declan wants Jai to make up with Nikhil, while Charity asks Cain for help in getting Debbie at her wedding - apologising for leaving him on the night he was attacked.

    TUESDAY

Aaron lies to Chas and Paddy about the bruise on his head, insisting that he's fine. He also tells Paddy that he hit his head on a car bonnet. However, Chas is concerned when she and Paddy realise that Aaron has told them different stories. Soon afterwards, Bob informs Chas that Hazel has been encouraging Aaron to leave with her, leading to an argument when Chas bangs on Hazel's door.

When Aaron arrives, he is upset by the row and explains to Hazel that he injured himself because of her. When Chas and Paddy leave Aaron and Hazel to talk alone, Aaron explains that she has to go without him - as it's the only way they're ever going to move on from Jackson.

Meanwhile, John ignores Moira when he takes the meat delivery to the pub. With John unreceptive, Moira takes matters into her own hands and decides to visit, but she arrives amid the chaos of a family argument. Seeing Hannah upset, Moira instinctively goes to hug her - before vowing to return tomorrow to help with the accounts.

Elsewhere, the Sharmas are frustrated that Jai and Nikhil are still not speaking to each other, Ashley visits Marlon and says that they need to put things behind them and make a fresh start, Laurel tells Sandy that they are staying in the village, while Ruby and Ali have more financial difficulties

    WEDNESDAY

Hazel tells Bob that she is leaving and she's grateful when he wants to make the most of their time left. Later, a small crowd gathers in the pub to say goodbye. Chas is pleased that Hazel is leaving, but she agrees to say goodbye to Aaron for her and apologise to him.

Bob packs the car with Hazel's bags as she tells him that she needs to say one last goodbye and heads towards the graveyard. Hazel then lays flowers on Jackson's grave, watched by Aaron - and when she sees him, Hazel puts her arms around him. Soon afterwards, Aaron watches Hazel leave - knowing it's for the best.

Meanwhile, Charity feels deflated when no-one can make her hen night due to the short notice. At the same time, Rishi tries unsuccessfully to get Jai and Nikhil to talk. While out shooting, Declan tells Jai that life is too short for grudges and he should sort things with Nikhil.

Elsewhere, Moira is floored when Hannah admits that she doesn't want to go to uni because she can't juggle everything at home as well as college.

    THURSDAY

It's the morning of Jai and Charity's wedding, but Jai and Nikhil still haven't made up. Gennie is flustered when Declan comes up with a plan to get Nikhil and Jai to talk. Declan re-routes the taxi to pick up Katie with the hope that Nikhil and Jai will speak. Nikhil guesses their plan, but the brothers still make up when Nikhil senses Declan's pain over losing Mia.

At the same time, Debbie takes a pregnancy test and discovers that she is expecting a baby. Cameron is thrown when Debbie admits she is pregnant, and he feels left out of what she and Andy now share. Saying he can't do it any more, Cameron leaves - and Debbie is devastated that she's lost him.

Later, Charity is on her way to the registry office when Sarah gossips about the pregnancy and Cameron's reaction. Charity leaps out of the taxi to rush back to help Debbie. Charity finds Cameron in the pub and desperately tries to talk him round before heading to Debbie's. Jai can't believe it when Chas arrives at the registry office with the kids but without Charity. Will Charity make it?

Elsewhere, Moira's hopes for a reconciliation are dashed when John tells her that she can be there for the kids, but their relationship is still over

Jai starts to think the worst as Charity still hasn't arrived. At the same time, Charity urges Debbie to pull herself out of her grief. Cain tells Debbie that she should go to the wedding and he suppresses his own feelings of grief at finally losing Charity.

Not long afterwards, Jai is pleased when Chas tells him that Charity has arrived with Debbie. The couple say their vows as planned and are pronounced husband and wife. Later, Debbie manages to reconcile with Cameron - telling him that she's sorry and that she loves him.

Meanwhile, Holly and Hannah row over Moira - and Adam's stuck in the middle again. At the same time, John enjoys himself at the wedding reception with Chas.

Elsewhere, Sean comes home from school saying that he's had a fight. Later, he admits to Belle that his family are too poor to stay in the village, and she tells him that when things get tough, her family go hunting for food.

    FRIDAY

Cain is broken after Charity's wedding and snaps when Sarah talks about it. Debbie is glad to have Cameron back as she cuddles up to him, but Cameron fumes when Andy approaches - concerned about Debbie. Cameron is soon irritated further as Andy brings chocolates for Debbie.

Later, Debbie is uncomfortable as she sits with Andy in the pub and texts Chas to rescue her. Diane is shocked when Andy admits that he and Debbie slept together and he thinks he's in love with her…

Meanwhile, Sam is walking through the woods with his shotgun, as Sean looks for animals in traps. Sam panics when he nearly shoots Sean, who then runs home. When Sam confesses to Declan that he almost shot Sean and offers to resign, Declan won't let him - telling him that he will deal with the Spencers. Later, at Home Farm, the Spencers apologise to Declan - but Ali is gutted when Declan tells her that she has 21 days to pay back the rent she owes.

Elsewhere, Nikhil decides to move back to Jai's but later realises that he should give the newlyweds some space and continue staying with Gennie, while Holly isn't pleased about John's chemistry with Chas

Emmerdale star Emma Atkins reckons it could be fifth time lucky for her alter-ego Charity Tate.
The 36-year-old's character is set to walk up the aisle to marry Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) on January 26, following months of delays and three previous weddings that never took place.
"She's desperate now to get it over and done with. This wedding was put off because Cain interferes again, so she's just anxious to get married. This is going to be the wedding she succeeds in," she said.
As with all soap weddings, the wedding doesn't go as smoothly as Charity - wearing a dress by Anita Massarella and Freya Rose heels - hopes.
"There isn't a fight for once. Things go according to plan, with the odd hitch," Emma continued.
"Charity's very emotional...and overwhelmed with it all. There are so many scenes where she's crying a lot. She's been through so much in the past few months and there's a frenetic energy to her."
Emma revealed Charity's ex Cain's reaction to the nuptials will shock fans.
"There's a lovely scene on the day of the wedding and I think the audience will be surprised at just how different Cain and Charity are with one another, where they've been at loggerheads," she said.
"They have both had to mature very quickly because Cain is coming to terms with the fact that Charity does love Jai. There will always be a connection between her and Cain, but for right now, it's Jai."

With Charity Tate finally about to tie the knot to Jai, actress Emma Atkins lets us in on the secrets of their big day...

How is Charity feeling before the wedding?

There’s been so much will- they, won’t-they? about it that she just wants to get it over and done with. But until she’s married and until she’s got the ring on her finger, she won’t believe it’s happening.

Because she’s not had much luck with her weddings up to now, has she?

No, she hasn’t. This is her fifth. They began with the one with Chris Tate, which went ahead, but after that there were three where she got to the altar and it all went wrong. And now she just wants to settle down.

How is Charity’s ex Cain going to take it?

There will always be a connection between them. There’s a nice scene when they meet before the wedding. They’re not at loggerheads for
    once. It’s quite heartbreaking.

Is she going to be happy to be Mrs Sharma though?

Oh yes. She’s proposed three times to Jai. The first time, he said no. The second time he said yes, but it got postponed. Then they said they’d do it, then Cain interfered, then it got cancelled and then she proposed again and finally they’re going to do it. Phew!

Emmerdale star Chris Bisson has revealed filming Jai and Charity's upcoming wedding turned out to be a chilly affair.

The 36-year-old, who plays businessman Jai Sharma, had to don a smart suit for the big day but because of its slim fit, he couldn't wear his usual thermals underneath.

"I'm wearing a sharp navy blue Reiss suit but it's a little bit tight. And I do struggle with it," he admitted.

"I can't wear my thermals underneath it because it would make the trousers even tighter - and then I can't bend down to tie my shoelaces."

The wedding between Jai and Charity (Emma Atkins), which takes place on January 26, was shot in Harrogate in mid-December.

Charity keeps Jai on his toes, as he wonders if she'll turn up at the registry office.

"He's hoping to get married. He's a bit stressed because Charity hadn't arrived. The day is going quite well, with the family in tow, but Charity is late and at Cain's house with Debbie," Chris explained.

Emmerdale's Ashley Thomas resorts to desperate measures in tonight's episode as he tries to find out exactly what went on between Laurel and Marlon.

When a confused Marlon (Mark Charnock) denies it, Ashley realises that he's telling the truth. However, Marlon is furious when he discovers that Ashley is bluffing and promptly kicks him out.

Emmerdale airs these scenes tonight at 7pm on ITV1.

Emmerdale's Debbie Dingle is thrilled to discover that she's pregnant in Thursday night's double bill of the soap.

Suspecting that she is finally expecting a baby, Debbie (Charley Webb) takes a test on the morning of Charity and Jai's wedding - which is already a tense day for the family.

When Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) arrives, it's just in time to see Debbie come down the stairs and, with a subtle nod, she confirms that the test was positive.

While Debbie and Andy are delighted that the saviour sibling plan could finally be going somewhere, Cameron (Dominic Power) is thrown and feels left out of what they now share. Is there trouble ahead? with a Capital T!

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Thursday, January 26 at 7pm on ITV1.
