    Welcome home!

Take it day by day, try to walk a bit further everyday and build up your stamina. Let everyone help you as much as possible, and if they don't offer - ask!

The worst bit is not being able to drive. I managed not being allowed to carry shopping bags or to hoover fine!

Take care and I am sure you will feel much better soon.

    Pookie,

Welcome home hunnie. I know you are sore, remember keep up to date with your pain meds and relax and take things easy. No lifting etc like the hospital told you (hopefully). Please dont do what I did, as son as I came home from hospital I was so pleased to see my dog I took her out for a walk...not a good idea lol. Exercise your feet/ankles. Do what you can, its great to see you on here as we can help keep you cheerful.

You might get emotional for no apparent reason - its completely normal. Your hormones and body have gone through a major trauma so it will take a while for things to settle down.

Take care and I'm sending you a gentle cyber hug (couldn't give you a big hug as I'm still waiting for metal rods to be put into my back (op was Dec 2rd - now late Jan/early Feb - boohoo - 26weeks I have waited for my op!) - sorry mini rant over

    Love D x

I can only repeat what the others have said. Take it easy, even if you find it difficult. Rather rest up now for a couple of weeks than things go wrong and you are poorly a lot longer Take care x
