The girl who plays Chloe in Coming of Age on bbc3 goes to my college! She does the IB. I've seen her around but it didn't click who she was until I remembered my friend pointed her out on an advert for it. I met her today in the library, she was with one of my friends who also does IB! Random...
Peter: So how many are there? Is it bad? Olivia: Did you eat? Peter: Yeah. Olivia: Well, that's unfortunate.

Did you meet them in the course of your work? What do you do? Sounds interesting, if that is how you met them.

I met some of them through work. I am retired now, but I worked at The British Museum for 37 years.

I was (still am!) very involved in politics and trade unions

I am also Vice Chairman of the West Cliff Theatre Trust in Clacton, which is where I met the entertainers and I used to do a bit of folk singing myself (I was half of a folk duo!)

In spite of meeting all these people through these interests, the most relevant to these boards, Ross Kemp, I met at a fete held where my wife used to work, as he was a friend of the manager and agreed to come along and open it.

Peter Ustinov I met on holiday a long time ago.

And Dermot Murnaghan I met because, as you may remember, I was on Eggheads - so I suppose I could add Judith, Kevin, Daphne, CJ and Chris to famous people I have met!

Working at the British Museum for 37 years Well done Have you ever thought about writing a book about your time in there? I am sure it would be extremely interesting, I would certainly like to read it.

Parkerman - it sounds like you have had an eventful life. Good on you! I agree with Perdy - you should consider writing your memoirs. You have done more in that paragraph above than many celebs who (ghost)write books.

Another interesting point - you are living your life not just reading about celebs living theirs.
