He was a bit silly in the way he behaved in the pub that night and deserved to get axed. Bruce had far too many chances and he blew it basically.

I think they are right to finally shut the door for him.

I think they are making the right decision, killing Les off. A good opportunity for Vicky Enthwistle to shine when showing her grief too.

The last I heard about Les Battersby was that he was in a tribute band called 'ZZ Top o` The Morning' and travelling with the Quo.
It is sensible to kill off Les B. Not only is it a fitting punishment for a man who bit the hand that fed him, it also sends a message to other actors that their off screen antics won`t be tolerated.

doesnt really make sense that leanne's mum comes back for her ex husbands funeral, yet she hasnt saw her daughter for many years and hasnt really seemed to make any effort to either.

Yeah you're right Siobhan. Leanne is Les's and Toyah is Janice's. Les isn't Toyah's dad and Janice isn't Leanne's mum.

I never understood why they wrote them into the show like that. I know its common in real life but there was never any purpose to it really.
