    How hypocritical can Pauline get? She was against them being together right from the start. She even told Sharon she was ruining her life!

    Yes she is a hypocrite, but I do think she's trying to put her own feelings aside at the moment. She has been civil to Phil throughout this, which must have been a struggle for her, considering what he did to Mark. And I do think Pauline wants Sharon to be happy.
