I think you are doing the right thing, regards to wanting to get contraception. Talk to your GP, explain it. They may ask you to go away and think about it, but at the end of the day, they WONT tell your parents.

You are thinking about it wisely, and it's obvious you have talked about it. Use both, as you don't want to become pregnant or contract any STD's. Go and see your GP. The first time is, uncomfortable, for the majority.
