Monday
Dee-Dee can?t save Roy Cropper from prison
As they take their seats in the police interview room, Roy Cropper asks Dee-Dee for a piece of paper and an envelope and begins to write. In the court, the CPS barrister paints Roy as a murderer with a violent past and lists his crimes including the assault on Gary and the abduction of Wayne.
As Nina, Evelyn and Carla await Roy?s bail hearing, Dee-Dee hurries over and hands Nina a letter from Roy. Fighting back tears, they realise that Roy?s convinced he?s going to prison. Unable to face the hearing, Evelyn heads back to the cafe to check on Freddie.
Meanwhile, Dee-Dee puts forward her case and urges the Judge to grant Roy bail, but the judge refuses the application and orders that he be held in custody until his trial.
In the cafe, Bobby is given food for thought whilst mulling over Roy?s predicament with Bernie. What is he planning?
Gary eyes Maria?s phone, wishing he could delete the camera footage. On the street, Sarah apologises to Gary for making a drunken pass at him and is horrified when he reveals that Maria has a hidden camera.
As Gary shows a valuer around the factory, Sarah approaches, worried about the camera footage but Gary assures her he?ll delete it. But will he be able to do it in time?
Adam meets up with Rebecca, a new client, at the Chariot Square Hotel. Having ordered a bottle of wine, Adam flirts with Rebecca and the chemistry between them is evident. When Alya calls to tell him that he?s needed in the office for a meeting, Adam kills the call leaving her frustrated. Alya takes the meeting with Rich from Fabian?s in place of Adam and he is impressed with her knowledge, suggesting she?s future partner material.
Later, Adam returns to the street with Rebecca and after they kiss, he invites her up to the office. As Alya winds up the meeting with Rich, suddenly the door bursts open and Adam and Rebecca stumble in, mid-snog.
Stu shows Eliza his newly tattooed arm with her name on it but when she points out that the ?z? is the wrong way round, Hope and Yasmeen are amused.
Simon worries that Leanne is backing out as she tells him that he needs to do some more research into his business before she?s prepared to invest any money.
Wednesday
Bobby Crawford is questioned by DS Swain
Bobby Crawford is nervous when he receives a call summoning him to the station for further questioning. In the prison, Roy refuses his breakfast and won?t agree to leave his cell. DS Swain gives a shaken Bobby a grilling and reminds him that perverting the course of justice is a serious offence and carries a custodial sentence.
Later, Bobby returns home and tells Carla how under pressure he made out to DS Swain that the intruder in Lauren?s flat was wearing a balaclava and a dark coat with a fur-trimmed hood.
When Bobby reveals that he?s changed his statement as he suddenly remembered seeing a man running out of Lauren?s flat, Cassie, Evelyn and Nina listen with interest.
Cassie tells Evelyn and Nina that not long after Lauren?s disappearance, she remembers seeing a coat in the charity shop fitting the description Bobby gave. Evelyn and Cassie return from the charity shop and tell Nina that the coat has gone but some other clothes came in with it and one of the jumpers has a name tag.
DS Swain calls at the builder?s yard flat and tells Daniel she?d like him to come with him as there?s been a development in the Lauren Bolton case. Has Bobby unknowingly accused Daniel?
Alya tells Yasmeen that she?s decided to accept the job offer from Rich. In the solicitors, Adam and Dee-Dee struggle without Alya to organise them.
Meanwhile, Rich takes Alya for lunch in the bistro, congratulates her on such a successful morning and tells her that she?s exactly what Fabian?s needs and she?ll go far.
Adam receives an email from his biggest client informing him that they?re transferring their work to Fabian?s.
How will he react to Alya poaching their business?
Having borrowed the Underworld van, Kirk helps Sean and Dylan move their stuff out of No.11 and offers to drop Dylan and Liam at school. In the caf?, Mary tells Eileen that having called at Sean?s new flat, it?s clear that they?re very short of furniture and the place is desperate for a facelift. As Sean moves the last of his things out of No.11, Mary hands him a housewarming gift in the shape of a candle.
In the Rovers, Joel opens up to Dee-Dee and reveals that Emily has been in touch and she?d like him to meet Maeve, his daughter.
In Speed Daal, Eliza admits to Sam and Hope how much she?ll miss them.
Stu tells Yasmeen that he really wants to make things work, but it?s up to her.
Friday
Joel fears Dee-Dee Bailey is in danger
Dee-Dee Bailey admits to Michael how much she enjoys Joel?s company but he reminds her that Joel lied to her in the past. In the solicitors, Dee-Dee takes a call which shocks her, but she covers in front of Adam. She then takes another unwanted call but when Joel arrives, she paints on a smile. As Joel helps her with Roy?s bail application, he notices that she?s received some email death threats!
Bethany does her best to persuade Daniel to put thoughts of Lauren to the back of his mind and come for a walk. Outside the caf?, Daniel has a go at Max for reporting him to the police and wasting their time but as Daniel and Bethany head off, Max tells Abi that he has no idea what he?s talking about. When Abi reveals who reported Daniel to the police, Max is shocked. He calls at the factory and rails at Bobby for failing to tell him about Daniel?s involvement in Lauren?s disappearance.
Later, Bethany reads an article suggesting that Lauren was working as an escort which gives Daniel an idea to call Nicky. Bethany finds Max in the caf? and orders him to lay off Daniel as he?s a lovely, kind person who is being wrongfully accused.
As Daniel heads off to meet Nicky, Max resolves to follow him. In the precinct, Daniel meets up with Nicky and her friend Deana. Max watches with excitement and after taking some pictures on his phone, explains to Bobby that he recognises Nicky as a sex worker and Daniel is clearly hiding something.
In the bistro, an upbeat Nick tells Leanne and Toyah that they?ve had a great week and business is improving, and he bites his tongue as Leanne puts it down to her reality coding.
Later, a couple calls at the bistro with their daughter Anwen who joins Sam for a game of chess. Sam is delighted and Nick and Leanne are pleased to see him making new friends. When Leanne suggests that her reality coding is helping him too, Sam?s sceptical, but in a bid to keep the peace, offers to read up about the Altovalent Institute.
Alya?s furious when Michael reveals that according to Adam she?s accepted her job back. Spotting Adam across the street, she heads over to demand answers. She then spells out to Adam that he can stick his lousy job and storms off. As Adam watches her go, it?s clear he?s smitten.
