Eve Unwin admits all to Suki Panesar after going off the rails in Tuesday's double episode

Eve Unwin has spent the night on a bench after drinking herself into oblivion. When Eve discovered that her date 'Caz' was not who she said she was and had a shocking tie to her past, she was sent into a complete head spin.

Suki Panesar finds a crashed out Eve and is concerned, encouraging Eve to open up about her twin sister's death. Eve's sister was killed in a car accident after leaving the house drunk and Eve has always felt guilt that she never stopped her.

Suki offers to go to the police station with Eve, so she can share the shocking new details about the tragedy. After talking to a police officer, Eve is devastated when she's told that Caz has already served her time and the case is now closed.

Heading to the Albert, a heartbroken Eve turns to the bottle yet again. With Eve missing, Suki enlists Stacey Slaters help to find her, sharing the state that Eve is in.

By the time they get to the Albert, Eve has left and Stacey panics when she learns where Eve has gone.

In the Square, a simmering Eve confronts Caz...

Suki and Stacey intervene just in time to stop anything bad happening and Stacey takes Caz back to hers to let her calm down. When Suki turns up with Eve, Caz is spooked.

Left alone with a manipulative Theo Hawthorne, her cage is rattled when Theo suggests she go to the police over Eve's actions. Theo has long been full of jealousy over Stacey's close friendship with Eve and he's desperate to get her out of the picture.

Will Caz take the bait and land ex-con Eve in big trouble?

Anna Knight has been in a huge dilemma ever since of getting hold of her missing mum's phone number. Freddie Slater gently encourages her to open up to her family and let them know what's going on.

Confessing to dad George Knight and his girlfriend Elaine Peacock, she's hurt when George snaps at her. He tells her that he's had her mum's number for years but despite his attempts to contact her, there's been radio silence - it's clear she doesn't want to be found.

Elaine is concerned for an upset Anna and tells George that it's natural for her to want to speak to her mum. Seeing the sense in Elaine's words, George tells Anna he gives her his blessing to make the call.

Nervously dialling the number, Anna leaves a message telling her mum that she's living in Walford and she misses her every day.

As the hours go by, it's clear that Rose Knight, aka Cindy Beale, is not going to reply to her daughter. A devastated Anna sends her mum a scathing text and then opens up to Bobby Beale about her heartbreak.

In France, the text to Cindy from Anna is seen by Cindy's son Peter Beale. Confused about the message from Cindy's 'daughter', he confronts dad Ian Beale.

Realising the game is up, Ian is forced to confess that Peter has two half sisters, Anna and Gina. He grabs Cindy's phone and deletes the text, pleading with Peter to keep Anna's contact secret from his mum.

Not willing to forget the bombshell news so easily, Peter books himself on the first Eurostar he can get on. He arrives in Albert Square just as Gina Knight and Anna are preparing to close up the Vic for the night...

Will he introduce himself?

Alfie Moon is being evasive about the MRI scan that he's been booked in for, not wanting to deal with the fact he could be facing something terrifying.

Phil Mitchell realises that Alfie's trying to skirt around the subject and he takes him for a kick about with the boys to try and get him to open up.

Still stubbornly refusing to talk about it, Alfie is given pause for thought when Phil reminds him he needs to take his health seriously for his kids' sake.

In an attempt to talk sense into Alfie, Phil reveals that he's booked himself in for a prostate exam, as his dad Eric Mitchell died from prostate cancer.

Will Alfie be persuaded to go for his scan after all?

Also, Patrick Trueman and Yolande Trueman are loved up but it's clear that Yolande is hiding something, as she keeps ignoring a call. The couple are stunned when Yolande's ex Anton bursts into the cafe and gets in a fight with Patrick!

Peter Beale investigates Cindy Beale's 'other' family in Thursday's double episode of EastEnders

Peter Beale has ended up at No.45 for the night after making a shock return to Albert Square. After spending the night on the sofa, he opens his eyes to see half-brother Bobby Beale staring at him!

Bobby previously called Peter with the worrying news that their gran Kathy Beale had put the chip shop up for sale. But losing a long-standing family business is not what Peter is really back in the Square for...

As soon as dad Ian Beale was forced to confess that Peter had two half-sisters living in Walford, he couldn't get back to the UK from France quick enough!

With the revelation weighing heavy on him, he's yet to reveal the truth to Bobby, who is unwittingly sweet on Peter's half-sister Anna Knight. He's also keeping things close to his chest when it comes to Anna and her sister Gina Knight...

Heading to the Queen Vic to suss out his new siblings, Peter soon finds himself in trouble. Peter wasn't the most popular person in the Square when he left three years ago and things ended on a sour note.

There was the violent altercation with his uncle Ben Mitchell. Not only that, he slept with Bobby's girlfriend Dana Monroe and he left his gran practically penniless after clearing out the business bank account before he left!

Then there's the matter of Suki Panesar... The pair ended up having a couple of illicit one-night-stands.

At the Vic, Peter is soon confronted by a raging Ben, who is still angry over what Peter did to Kathy.

When Gina lets slip that Anna is keen on Bobby, Peter is rattled and tries to intervene. Will he only end up pushing them even closer?

The next day, after another night at the Beales', Peter wakes up feeling bad about everything that went down the day before. He's taken by surprise when mum Cindy Beale calls him to see where he is.

After promising dad Ian Beale that he wouldn't tell Cindy that her ex-hubby and two daughters are in the Square, Peter tries to cover but Cindy knows there's something up.

Confronting Ian, Cindy tells him that she's seriously worried about their son and she's going back to the UK to get him!

Ian, of course, is alarmed as he's desperate for Cindy not to find out that her 'other' family are closer than she thinks. It seems he's enjoying having the love of his life all to himself finally!

Pleading with her to stay put in France, he promises her he will convince Peter to come home.

But is he too late to stop Cindy?

Stacey is rattled when she gets back home to find her bedroom has been trashed and she's at a loss over what has happened.

She still has cottoned onto the fact that her secret stalker is her NOT so secret admirer Theo Hawthorne. Even though he's obviously not quite right, she's been determined to see the best in him!

Stacey's ex Martin Fowler is not so generous over Theo and has been suspicious that he's a creep from the start. When Theo first offered to start tutoring his and Stacey's pregnant teenager daughter Lily Slater, Martin was NOT happy with the situation.

After a trip away to Bulgaria, Martin gets home but Stacey decides to keep quiet about the break-in. Knowing how reactionary he is, she's concerned he'll kick off and thinks it's not worth the aggro to 'fess up.

When Theo turns up to tutor Lily, Eve Unwin is fuming, as he tried to get her arrested following her altercation with Caz.

Feeling vulnerable after the break in, Stacey is happy to see him and lets him stay, much to Eve's displeasure.

Not wanting Theo to get away with it, Eve confronts him about what he said to Caz and they exchange a few heated words.

Later, Eve arranges to see Martin in the cafe to give him an update on Stacey's sinister stalker.

Will he guess that it's Theo?

Also, Yolande Trueman is faced with an ultimatum when her ex pleads with her to return to Birmingham with him. Meanwhile, Phil Mitchell and Alfie Moon head to hospital for their medical check up and Janet Mitchell passes her GCSEs!

Anna sends a text to her mum. Peter, who's still in France, intercepts the message on Cindy's phone. He questions Ian, who confirms that Peter has two sisters. Ian deletes Anna's message and begs Peter not to tell Cindy.

Although Peter initially agrees, he soon decides to visit Walford to meet Anna and Gina. After a trip on the Eurostar, Peter turns up at The Vic just as the Knight sisters are closing up.

Meanwhile, Theo meddles in the Caz situation by encouraging her to go to the police about Eve. He hopes this will get Eve out of Stacey's orbit once and for all. Suki overhears this conversation and interrupts, but she worries when she learns that Caz has headed off to the police station.

Elsewhere, Yolande's ex-lover Anton arrives in Walford, sparking a showdown between him and Patrick. Anton claims that Yolande is leaving with him and gives her until tomorrow to make amends.

Also today, Phil gives Alfie further encouragement by sharing plans to get his prostate checked.

Bobby is surprised to find Peter at Number 45. Peter promises to help turn around the fortunes of the struggling chippy so that Kathy doesn't need to sell. However, Peter's focus soon switches to spying on Anna and Gina at The Vic.

Ben is furious to see Peter at the pub and tries to start a row. When Gina mentions that Bobby is smitten with Anna, a concerned Peter tries to intervene to stop the blossoming relationship between them.

Meanwhile, Stacey is shocked to find that her bedroom has been trashed.

Elsewhere, Anton gives Yolande an ultimatum as he tries to convince her to come back to Birmingham.

Peter regrets his behaviour last night and is forced to cover when Cindy calls. Things get worse for Peter when Bobby orders him to leave.

In France, Cindy tells Ian that she'll travel to Walford to bring Peter back. Ian worries about her bumping into Anna and Gina, so he says that he'll make Peter come home instead.

Meanwhile, Eve confronts Theo over his meddling behaviour involving Caz.

Martin returns from Bulgaria, so Eve fills him in over the latest drama with Stacey's stalker.

Elsewhere, Janet learns that she has passed her GCSEs.

Also today, Alfie thanks Phil for his support as they both head to hospital for their test results.
