    Cool Holby Spoilers 23rd August

Today is the launch of Guy's autobiography and it also coincides with a speech he is giving to investors in the hopes of raising money for Holby's Neuro Unit. Zosia brings a patient called Valerie onto the ward and the air between her and Ollie is still chilly. Ollie and Zosia have to work together to resuscitate Valerie when her heart stops. Guy comes looking for Zosia, but stops short when he recognises Valerie by her voice.

Soon afterwards, Ollie and Jasmine amuse themselves by reading out excerpts from Guy's book, but they strike a nerve when Zosia overhears them. She accuses him of flirting with Jasmine, only to backtrack and insist she doesn't care about Ollie's love life.

Zosia is then incredulous when she discovers that Valerie has been discharged by her family and sent to a private hospital. She gets straight on the phone, arguing that the patient is in no fit state to be transferred. Bringing her back to the ward, they run into Guy and Valerie greets him by saying she's just been getting to know the granddaughter who never knew she existed…

Meanwhile, Raf is running out of patience with the dynamics at home. Fletch brushes it off at first, but when an unexpected case comes to AAU, he is forced to come to terms with Mikey's problematic behaviour.

Elsewhere, Ric is confident as he campaigns for the deputy CEO role, but he hits a stumbling block when it turns out he doesn't have as many friends on the board as he once thought.
