Britney Spears has teamed up with Xenomania for her forthcoming album, reports claim.

The producers - behind all 21 of Girls Aloud's singles, 20 of which charted within the UK Top Ten - are said to be contributing to the LP, which is due for release in March 2011.

The Sun reports that Spears has worked with the production team, founded by Brian Higgins and Miranda Cooper, as well as Essex-born singer Jessie J in a bid to create a record inspired by the UK music scene.

The collaboration marks the second time Spears has worked with Xenomania, after they wrote and produced the track 'Graffiti My Soul' for Spears in 2003, which was later used on Girls Aloud's sophomore set What Will The Neighbours Say?

Spears['s] new single 'Hold It Against Me' is due to premiere on January 7.
