    Smile Corrie Spoilers 28 Sep - 2 Oct 09

    Monday, 28 September 2009, 7:30PM - 8:00PM

It’s Fiz’s (Jennie McAlpine) big day but the bride to be is full of pre-wedding jitters, and with Chesney (Sam Aston) still refusing to go it’s looking like being far from the happiest day of her life. Fixing a smile Fiz puts on her dress and prepares to leave. But when she’s greeted outside by a vitriolic Rosie (Helen Flanagan) she’s more on edge than ever. Arriving at the prison she’s met by John (Graeme Hawley) and finally admits to him that everyone’s against them, including Chesney. Will John be able to calm Fiz’s nerves or as the registrar waits is Fiz about to get cold feet?

Rosie plays it cool with Luke (Craig Kelly) at the factory but secretly she’s hatching another plot to win back her man. Inventing a fake meeting she tells Luke he needs to meet his landlord back at the flat at lunchtime. She then secretly steals his mobile and texts Michelle (Kym Marsh) to make sure she’s there. Luke falls for it but when he arrives at the flat will he fall back into Rosie’s seductive arms?

Dev’s (Jimmi Harkishin) furious when Amber (Nikki Patel) tells him she’s thinking of jacking in university as she’s back with Darryl (Jonathan Dixon). Teresa’s (Karen Henthorn) not happy either until Dev tells her he has a plan to end their relationship once and for all.

Norris (Malcolm Hebden) makes it clear to Tina (Michelle Keegan) that he’s now the boss at the Kabin. Tina humours him while Norris interviews Kirk (Andrew Whyment) for a job.

    Monday 28 September [2]

As John (Graeme Hawley) begs Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) to go ahead with the wedding she’s in turmoil, knowing that by committing to this marriage she could risk losing Chesney forever. As she sits outside the prison in floods of tears Roy tries to console her. But back on the street Chesney tells Hayley he’s changed his mind, realising how much she means to him he urges Hayley to get him to the prison. Will they make it in time?

Michelle (Kym Marsh) arrives at Luke’s (Craig Kelly) flat to find a semi-naked Rosie (Helen Flanagan) emerging from the bathroom. She pretends to be shocked to see Michelle but Luke can see he’s been duped by Rosie and sets about trying explain himself.
Determined to get Darryl (Jonathan Dixon) out of Amber’s (Nikki Patel) life Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) attempts to bribe him with £500 to move to Spain and leave his daughter alone. How will Darryl react?

Norris (Malcolm Hebden) is very pleased with himself as he makes his first appointment at the Kabin.

    Thursday 1 October

Back inside the prison chapel emotions run high as Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) and John (Graeme Hawley) discuss their love for each other with Chesney (Sam Aston). Will he finally give them their blessing and allow the wedding to go ahead? Fiz won’t go through with it without him and as she fights back the tears she knows this was never how she envisaged her wedding day would be.

When Rosie (Helen Flanagan) arrives at the factory Luke (Craig Kelly) tells her she’s fired. But Rosie refuses to go without a fight and threatens to take him to a tribunal revealing how he seduced her and then took her money. Will Luke take his chances?
Darryl (Jonathan Dixon) tells Teresa (Karen Henthorn) how Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) bribed him to finish with Amber (Nikki Patel) and that he now regrets taking the money. Still unaware Amber’s desperate for him to reconsider his move to Spain but when Teresa tells her he’s doing it because her dad paid him Amber can’t believe it. With relationships at breaking point how will Amber react?

Tyrone (Alan Halsall) sets about decorating the spare room at No.9. But he and Molly (Vicky Binns) clearly have very different views on what it should be used for.

    Friday 2 October [1]

As Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) calls into Underworld the factory girls have plenty to say about her wedding drama. Feeling alone Fiz wishes things could be different with John (Graeme Hawley), especially as there’s no let up in the abuse hurled at her by the Webster clan. Clouded by depression and unable to see the light at the end of the tunnel Fiz suggests to Chesney (Sam Aston) that they move away.

As Amber (Nikki Patel) prepares to leave the street and return to university Darryl’s (Jonathan Dixon) determined to do the right thing. Refusing to bank the cheque from Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) he chases after her. Dev’s also desperate to stop her and make amends. But feeling betrayed by both the men in her life will Amber be prepared to listen to either?

Jesse (John Thomson) takes photos of Julie (Katy Cavanagh) dressed as Hia-Lowa for his website. But as he casts his eye over her assets Eileen (Sue Cleaver) realises he fancies Julie and insists that he sacks her.

Kevin and Sally (Sally Whittaker) return from their holiday. But it’s clear the break has done nothing to refocus his attentions on his marriage as he sets about arranging another secret tryst with Molly (Vicky Binns).

PI for Friday 2 October [2]

Chesney’s (Sam Aston) furious with Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) and tells her how much he hates John (Graeme Hawley) for ruining their lives. Feeling low Fiz returns to the prison where she breaks down in front of John. Chesney meanwhile is adamant he’s not moving away from the street and when Anna (Debbie Rush) finds him looking upset she takes him to the Windasses. When Gary (Mikey North) suggests that Chesney could move in with them, Ches is quick to take him up on his offer. How will Fiz react to this news?

Molly (Vicky Binns) and Kevin (Michael LeVell) can’t keep their hands off each other as they secretly meet in a motel. As they spend the evening in bed Kevin gives Molly a necklace he bought for her in Lanzarote. As Molly shows him just how much she likes it the couple admit they’re head over heels in love with each other.

Jesse (John Thomson) tries to sack Julie (Katy Cavangh) but when she realises Eileen’s (Sue Cleaver) behind it she persuades him to let her continue with the job and lie to Eileen. Jesse begrudgingly agrees and Julie tells Eileen how Jesse’s sacked her. Will Eileen buy it?

    Fiz and John Rock!
I don't know why people don't like them, John is not a bad person, and Fiz is not crazy for loving him and wanting to marry him.

I quite like Fiz and John together too. We are all capable of doing something daft at times and John never harmed Rosie

Get real people. John kidnapped and imprisoned Rosie, which is a MAJOR crime. He also abused his position as teacher by sleeping with a pupil, whilst he was in a relationship with Fiz. What a guy?!

I wish they would shift the focus away from Fiz and John a little and move onto other characters. So she thinks she has found happiness that is great for her but I can't believe that she has forgotten all the trouble he caused for her and Chesney. Maybe moving away could be a good idea- fresh start a new beginning.
