seriously what was the point?

It's New Year, someone has to die. It's almost become tradition to kill someone off at New Year. This leaves Jess open to go back to Sean if she wants to, no messy arguments between Adam and Sean about who Harry lives with.

Cannot believe that the NHS is so badly stretched that they could not give Adam a couple of hours off work to get married. The fact that the most of the ED and the Holby Ambulance Service were there would have meant that some sort of cover had been arranged. Im sure that whatever the emergency could have waited another 10 or even 20 seconds until Adam and Jess were pronounced man and wife.
