Can Jack RISE to the occasion
CORRIE womaniser Jack Duckworth is terrified he will be a bedroom flop when he moves in with new girlfriend Connie Rathbone.
Jack, who is played by Billy Tarmey, has been one of Corrie's biggest romeos.
But in a new storyline, the 75-year-old widower takes fright at the prospect of romping with Connie (Rita May).
Jack, who is moving out of the Street to be with Connie, confesses she has been lurking outside his bedroom door like a "lioness waiting to pounce".
In scenes to be aired this autumn on the ITV1 soap, Jack, pictured with Connie below, tells pal Tyrone Dobbs: "I reckon she's angling for a fair bit more than companionship - and I'm not sure I'm capable of giving it to her."
In one scene, viewers see Jack reading in bed when he hears footsteps outside his door. He quickly turns out the light and pretends to snore.
