    Holby City Spoilers 29 September

    Tuesday 29 September
    8.00-9.00pm BBC ONE
    www.bbc.co.uk/holbycity

Faye is determined to win over Joseph, as the medical drama continues, but when Archie falls ill and is admitted to Holby her priorities shift.

While Joseph confronts Linden about kissing Faye on Joseph and Faye's wedding day, Elliot takes control of Archie's treatment and saves his life in theatre.

It's Penny's first day on Darwin Ward and Jac is determined to prove that she's a team player – she wants to become Connie's right-hand woman on her robotics project. When a high-profile patient creates media interest, however, she fears that her whistle-blowing antics will come back and bite her.

Meanwhile, Ric tells Maria that her scans confirm what they had feared – she will be paralysed. There is only one option available to Maria – a very risky operation with a 50 per cent mortality rate. Maria wants to protect her parents from the reality of the situation, but learns that it's better to be honest and inclusive if she want people's support.

Apart from the Faye stuff this sounds like a good episode.
Peter: So how many are there? Is it bad? Olivia: Did you eat? Peter: Yeah. Olivia: Well, that's unfortunate.

What an absolutely brilliant episode last night. This programme just gets better and better. Glad to see that Faye and Joseph have got sorted. Its hard to believe that this is the same Patsy Kensit who was such a rubbish actor in Emmerdale, The stuff involving Maria was totally brilliant and well acted. As for the ubiquitous Ms Naylor she was her usual suercillious self. Another fine piece of acting. Hopefully now that Ric knows who grassed him to the papers we will see her taken down a peg or two.

A big well done to all concerned
