I'm Gonna kill the fooking cat

I have a problem with the laptop. yesterday when Marley was on the laptop one of the flaming scabby cats jumped on the keys and now when you try to type some of the letters are now numbers and I have to hold down the Fn key on the bottom right hand corner. any suggestions I have tried switching it off and on but no use. this is an example.

i=5 p=-,u=4, k=2, l=3, m=0, o=6 it looks as if it is only affecting the uiopjklm;@ keys.

Kath, don't know what your laptop is like but for me I click the Fn key and there is one called NmLk.. that will fix it.. it is just your num lock is on.

That's what i had done when I first got my laptop, I thought i'd broken it but then my dad's friend told me to press Num Lock and it went back to normal (:
