Coronation Street star Kym Marsh is the bookies' favourite to replace Kerry Katona in Iceland TV advertisements, it has been revealed.
Katona was axed by the frozen food chain earlier this week following allegations that she snorted cocaine at her Cheshire home.
Mother-of-two Marsh, who is best known for her role as Weatherfield's Michelle Connor, is now being supported by punters who are betting on the star's successor. She can currently be backed at 3/1, giving her an early lead.
Meanwhile, Charlotte Church is second favourite with odds of 4/1, followed by Marsh's former Hear'say bandmate Suzanne Shaw at 6/1.
Katie Price and Victoria Beckham are seen as less likely replacements, with odds of 25/1 and 500/1 respectively.
A spokesman for online bookmaker Paddy Power said: "Kym Marsh is the first name to see proper money in our Iceland betting."
Other novelty bets include the chances of Katona being named as the new face of Coke (500/1) and Iceland being renamed as Snowland (1,000/1).
