    The Bill on Alibi

Has anyone been watching the repeats of The Bill in daytime on Alibi?

I've been watching them and I am loving them. They are currently showing Don Beech going on the run after he killed Boulton and CID being replaced in 'All Fall Down'.

Despite The Bill going back to focusing mainly on crime stories, I still think the days of the late 90s/early 2000s can not be beaten in regards to quality.

Billy Murray plays Don Beech brilliantly. The best villain the Bill has ever had, if you ask me.

I've just tuned in today to see a very young looking DCI Meadows with hair

Team Colours is today's episode. I think Spt Chandler in is as well as Duncan and Mickey. Don't recognise any others.

Any idea what year this is?

    I think it's late 2000/early 2001.

I am really enjoying watching these episodes.

I agree. Absolute quality in those days.

They've just shown "The Night Before"/"The Morning After" focusing on Dave and Polly's secret affair. Two fantastic episodes. I loved how their affair storyline was handled - it was made out to be a big deal and the characters involved were actually well rounded and characters we grew to care for as viewers. I had to feel sorry for Tony as he thought he stood a chance with Polly - was shocked when he called Vicky Hagen a "bitch" though
