2581: The teens' revision turns to partying
Airs on Monday, June 15 2009 at 18:30 BST on Channel 4

Josh's band get the chance of a big break, but internal arguments threaten to ruin the whole gig. Lydia's late for rehearsals, Hayley's full of nerves and when Kris throws a diva strop feeling like Josh is pushing him out, The Somethings are left without a manager.

It's terrible timing as Josh has managed to secure Rob Mackie, a music promoter, to see them play. In a desperate attempt to keep things together, Josh asks Lydia to collect Rob from the airport while he sits his exam. However, when Josh discovers that Lydia has been drawn away by family commitments, he abandons his AS Level to collect Rob.

While Hayley manages to persuade Kris to return for the gig, things are far from sorted as Josh announces that Lydia isn't attending. While everyone frets, Josh has to make another quick decision and begs a reluctant Rhys to drum. Will Josh keep it together for the performance? And can Rhys and Hayley avoid sniping at each other long enough to persuade Rob that The Somethings deserve their big shot?

When Lauren holds an impromptu group study session, no one gets much work done. Newt arrives at the Valentines' and Leo is suspicious at first but Lauren ushers her dad out so she can spend time with Newt alone.

Lauren's dismayed, however, when Newt announces that he's also invited Theresa to study with them. Lauren's day gets much worse when Theresa arrives with Anita, armed with bottles of cider, clearly harbouring no plans to revise.

Lauren sparks with Theresa and their bickering leads into a game of truth or dare. When Lauren challenges Anita to steal from Drive N Buy, Theresa's on-hand when Anita gets into an awkward situation with Leo.

As the day goes on, Lauren finds everyone else turning against her. Just as things are boiling over, Leo walks in to find Lauren throwing up. It all ends in tears for Lauren and Anita, but when Theresa and Newt are left alone, things heat up…

Zoe tries to negotiate with Adrian about her plagiarised script, but he still won't back down on his offer. Some words of comfort from Kris help to cheer her up a little, but Zoe still sees no way to save her degree or her dreams of becoming a top film maker. When Adrian turns up at the SU bar and smugly offers to buy Zoe a drink, it's all she can do to stop herself hitting him…

Meanwhile, Zak is still stuck for somewhere to live post-graduation. Michaela offers to let him live with her but he doesn't exactly seem over the moon at the idea of living in the McQueen residence.

2582: Hayley and Rhys share a kiss
Airs on Tuesday, June 16 2009 at 18:30 BST on Channel 4

There's a breakdown in communication between Anita and her new chatroom boyfriend. Meanwhile, fight it as they will, Newt and Theresa cannot keep away from each other. All members of the gang are feeling a little worse for wear as they emerge from their math exam. Meanwhile, there's plenty of tension in the air between Newt and Theresa.

Later, when Theresa falls and twists her ankle, a seemingly reluctant Newt comes to the rescue, whisking her away on a borrowed skateboard. However the small act of kindness only cements the growing attraction between the pair.

Meanwhile, Anita's busy surfing the net with her internet boyfriend Ricky. Lauren, who enjoys goading Anita about her mystery boyfriend, persuades her to meet up with Ricky. Fortified by a ton of eyeliner, Anita reluctantly agrees. Anita's forced to admit that she's been posing as Theresa on the net, but Lauren won't let anything stop her.

But when Ricky fails to turn up, Anita walks away believing that she has been stood up. However there's a twist in the tale when the real Ricky, only 14-years-old, catches the real Theresa snogging Newt. Believing her to be Anita, Ricky suspects that he's been betrayed.

The Somethings need to come up with the goods quickly, but first they need to find a little harmony. Faced with a week's deadline, the group realise that they need to write new songs as well as scrape together funds for a recording session by Thursday.

Hayley and Rhys both hit on the same idea when they go to see the Dean for a handout. But with all their bickering, they actually manage to talk him out of handing over any cash. While Hayley and Rhys tear into each other, Josh walks out like an exasperated parent leaving them to settle their differences. However, when Kris and Josh walk back in to find Hayley and Rhys literally kissing and making up, he's shocked. Is this good or bad news for the band?

Graduation day draws closer for Zoe, but will she make the grade? Zoe's still undecided over Adrian's proposal, but Nancy, pining for Russ, attempts to drag her out of her self-pity by proposing a day of drunken moaning in The Dog.

Zoe surreptitiously probes Nancy to hear her thoughts about sleeping with someone in order to get what you want. It's clear at this point that Zoe's seriously starting consider Adrian's offer. However, Nancy just bats such an idea away.

Nancy, Kris and Zoe are all sat glumly reflecting on life after uni, until Nancy lifts Zoe's mood by offering to let her live with herself and Hannah for the summer…

Ravi is helping out his brother Ash with the refurbishment of his new takeaway, but he certainly doesn't relish the lack of respect his brother shows. While Ravi's busy grafting, Ash can't help having a dig.

When a frustrated Ravi eventually walks out, Ash is left in the lurch. It doesn't mean that Ash treats his brother any better, though, as when he returns home complaining about his errant brother, their bickering turns to a playground wrestling match. Ravi wins hands-down and the tables have turned - but for how long?

2583: Anita's shocked to meet her online boyfriend
Airs on Wednesday, June 17 2009 at 18:30 BST on Channel 4

Josh is determined that The Somethings will make it big time and he won't stop at hurting his friends in the process. Things are awkward between Hayley and Rhys, but she shows him who's boss by cooling things between them.

Meanwhile, Kris tries to sweet talk Rob Mackie, but he makes them realise that fame and fortune are a long way off. First, the band will have to scrape together enough cash to make another demo. With Hayley selling off essays to freshers and Josh sacrificing Rhys' cherished record collection, they manage to accumulate just about enough. However, when Josh misinterprets Rob's reaction to Hayley, he suspects that selling a band whose lead-singer is in a wheelchair may be more of a problem…

Anita and Lauren are both feeling put out by the men in their lives, but they may both be in for a big surprise. After having been stood up by Ricky the day before, Anita wants to know what's going on. When he explains that he saw her kissing someone else, she realises there's been a mix-up and decides to reveal her real identity.

A concerned Lauren reluctantly agrees to accompany her while she goes and meets Ricky. However, Anita gets more than she bargained for when her 20-year-old hunk turns out to be a 14-year-old skater boy!

Lauren finds the situation too good to be true and quickly invites Newt and Theresa over. But, having seen them kiss yesterday, Ricky nearly blows Newt and Theresa's secret. While Newt manages to steer Lauren away before she overhears, Theresa's left trying to convince Anita that Ricky's making things up…

Ash and Ravi are still bickering like children, but Ravi seems to have a plan. When Ash finds his bouncer brother reading up on business management, he finds it ridiculous. Still smarting after Ravi walked away from Relish, he dismisses him as a meathead with no prospects. In Ravi's absence, Ash has had to employ cheeky scouse brothers Zak and Caleb.

Ash's lack of tact or manners soon lands him in even more trouble, as the brothers follow Ravi's lead and walk out on Ash too. When Ash catches Ravi drinking with Caleb and Zak, he lashes out at his brother - but he may have pushed Ravi a little too far this time…

    2584: Caleb punches Ravi
Airs on Thursday, June 18 2009 at 18:30 BST on Channel 4

It's the re-launch of Relish and Ravi steps up to save the day. Abandoned by Zak and Caleb, Ash practically begs Ravi to help him. Preparing Relish in time for the grand re-opening is a mammoth task, though, so Ravi decides to persuade new mates Caleb and Zak to jump back on board. Desperate for money, Zak agrees and Caleb manages to persuade Archie to help, too.

The re-launch is a success thanks to Ravi's quick-thinking business skills, but while Ravi is busy making friends with Caleb, Ash clearly doesn't enjoy being the butt of his brother's jokes. In the end he resorts to dirty tricks. When he tells Caleb about Ravi being bisexual, the bolshy soldier attacks his new mate. Will Ash have the last laugh?

Meanwhile, Lauren's struggling with the pressure of exams and it seems like there's no-one she can turn to. Her dad doesn't even seem to notice that she's stressing out, apparently unaware it's the date of her final GCSE.

Lauren freaks out during her exam and Newt is there to lend a shoulder. But as he consoles her, it's clear that she wants more from him than friendship. Lauren ends up taking her frustrations out on Leo, but he manages to win her round, reassuring her that he really does care.

Meanwhile, feeling guilty about Lauren, Newt calls things off with Theresa. She pretends not to care, but deep down, it's obvious that she does…

Josh is banking all his hopes on the band, but he makes some cutthroat decisions that may risk alienating those close to him. Rhys is reluctant to let Josh sack Hayley from the band just because she's in a wheelchair, but it doesn't seem like he has a choice when Josh speaks to Michaela behind everyone else's back.

Hayley's understandably devastated, but Josh cannot bring himself to give her a proper explanation. Internal arguments hold the band back and when Rhys discovers that Josh has sold his records, he storms off. Has Josh ruined things for good?

On the eve of results day, Zoe's worried about her future. While she sits pondering over the Bournemouth University prospectus, Zoe's choice seems clear: sleep with Adrian and get the grade. It seems that Zoe has chosen results over morals when she turns up at Adrian's office. He thinks that his boat has come in, but she has other ideas.

Throwing Adrian's indecent offer back in his face, Zoe walks out with her degree in jeopardy and dignity still intact…

2585: The students receive their results
Airs on Friday, June 19 2009 at 18:30 BST on Channel 4

Ravi's down in the dumps after Caleb's attack, while Ash is feeling guilty about instigating the unprovoked incident. Ash becomes frustrated with his brother when Ravi refuses to confront his attacker or face up to his own identity.

When Ash squares up to Caleb, Ravi just thinks that he's making things worse. In the end Ash can't take his brother's ungratefulness and in an outburst, he tells Ravi that it was he who let Caleb know about his sexuality. Despite his best intentions, Ash seems to be making an enemy of everyone.

Later, Anita's furious with Ash when he kicks Ricky out of the house. Making up with Anita's not such a problem, but Ravi's more stubborn. Isolated in the house, Ravi suffers a blackout following his fight with Caleb. While Ash leaves his brother to stew, it becomes clear that it's going to take more than a little TLC to heal Ash's wounds…

It's D-Day in halls as Zak, Kris, Zoe and the other students' results are published. Zak's thrilled to have passed, which means he won't have to run away to the army. Meanwhile, there are no surprises for Zoe - she sealed her fate when she turned down Adrian's offer and her letter confirms that she's failed.

However Archie, who doesn't know about Adrian, covers for his sister in front of her friends. A loved-up Elliot and Leila get the good results that they expected and so does Kris. But with his dreams of rock and roll stardom in tatters, the outlook's still gloomy. While everyone celebrates and commiserates together, Zoe remains very quiet…

Meanwhile, Rhys wants to make amends with Hayley but Josh may have ruined things for good. Rhys does his best to play peacemaker, but with Josh and Hayley still refusing to give any ground, he's left stranded in no man's land.

Even worse, it turns out that Josh made the wrong decision by sacking Hayley from the band. Rob refuses to endorse a band who stand for bigotry and while Josh wallows in self-pity, Rhys has no sympathy for him. It's clear that Josh has been the author of his own downfall, but has he blown his chances of success for good?

Everyone but Lauren seems to be hooking up and she's left stranded by the one person she thinks she can turn to. Newt and Theresa are still a little shy around each another but it's clear that they like each other and they begin to spend more and more time together.

Tentatively, Newt invites Theresa around to Darren's empty flat for some alone time. It looks like they're about to move things on when Theresa produces the condoms that Anita had stolen from Drive N Buy. Just as they are moving to the bedroom though, Newt's phone rings – it's Lauren. Newt is faced with a choice: needy ex or an exciting new conquest.

Meanwhile, against all her best instincts, Anita can't help being drawn to Ricky's boyish charm…
