I reckon Paul will die, it would be one way of ending this terrible tale, mind you there could be more than one death.
Even though Vinny is scared of Paul, he is doing Mandy no favours by keeping quiet, it is only a matter of time before Paul starts beating her as well.

Mandy may talk a good fight, but I am not sure she could defend herself against Paul. Regardless of that she would be heartbroken, that being the case it would be better for that to be before the wedding than after it.
