I also don't understand the thinking behind the "Gender Reveal Party". If Lydia is making two cakes, one pink, one blue, that must mean no one has opened the hospital letter yet. So how will they know which cake to use? Is Lydia going to open the letter beforehand? If she is why does she not open it now, then she will only have to bake one cake, which she could do when no one is home. I feel I must have missed something here.
Not sure, but I think Lydia opened the letter and baked 1 cake.

That would have been the sensible way to do it, so why was Lydia twittering on about baking two cakes last week. Seems to me the writers do not know what other writers have written.
That make-up did Dawn no favours, she looks far nicer without it. Suppose that is their way of making her look like a sex worker.

Cain could have charged the barn door with the lawnmower.
He could have levered the padlock off with the crowbar.
He is alright at breaking into places but can't break out.

Sorry. I disagree. Dawn looked nicer with her make up. It was not OTT at all

Nothing to do with the padlock. It was a large piece of wood keeping the doores shut

Nice last scene of episode 2 I thought

There was another single door with internal padlock and bolt.
