I think Andy Sugden was there before the Barton's. I think they bought it from Home Farm.

Sugden would never have been able to afford a farm. He must have rented it. The land in question was taklen over by the Bartons because nobody else was claiming it The Bartons should have checked with the Land Registry.

Andy was renting the farm as a tenant, as were the Burton's when they first arrived, they bought the farm later.

They now have completely ruined the character of Dawn, I suspect she will leave soon. Surely she could just have resolved never to mention the Malone incident rather than sleep with Ellis and destroy his relationship with his brother. - A bit extreme.- Surely she should have considered that this could have caused a violent incident even reulting in one of the brothers being killed. In a way it is a repeat of the Moira and Nate story but as is the way with Soaps Cain seems to have forgiven Nate and all is well between them, so I suppose if the story line dictates, Billy will in time forgive Ellis. Maybe they should change the programme name to "Forgiveness".

Emmerdale use to be described as a "sleepy little village" it is a different type of "sleepy" now.

Ellis looks a lot younger now his hair has grown longer.

She was last seen in 2009 and was in her 90s then and she also needed to provide a home for those that needed a break away from Emmerdale ..as they always went to stay with her in Spain
