What a nonsense week. Was Lydia's plan to shop the culprit to the Police? Why hasn't it occurred to anyone that Sam might not have killed him?

The only storyline that has come out of this week that is remotely interesting is Eric's. Well that, and the wellbeing of the poor horse.

Judging by the state of Craig's face after the pummeling Sam gave him, there is bound to be Sam's dna on Craig, and i would think Sam's knuckles will be showing obvious signs.

Soap forensics are never very thorough, if they find one hoof print, they will probably not look any further. Despite what we see on TV and in films, punching someone in the face or on the skull is more damaging than they show us. Damaging to the punchers hands that is, even trained boxers can fracture bones in their hands when punching with bare knuckles. That's why boxers have so much padding in their gloves and use so much tape on their hands.

It could be that it is hidden under her hair, she has worn it down since the injury. Either that or the make up department is running short of fake blood. Sam's left hand was hardly ever in camera shot after the he beat Craig unti the police the police asked about his skinned knuckles.
