Has Angel ever shown any interest in cars? Would she be able to drive? Has she ever driven a car before? If not why would she volunteer to drive? If she was driving was it because Cathy told her to. I do not understand why they would stop and change drivers. It seems unlikely they would do so, but I think it will turn out that Angel was driving.

Whether Cathy or Angel was driving at the time of the crash, I think the major share of the blame for Heath's death lies with Cathy. It was her idea to take the car and it was her who took the keys.

Yes she is to blame, for most of it, but if she wasnt driving at the time of the collision, then the one that was, is responsible for the death. Unfortunately the only other person that knows who was driving is poor Heath. So unless Angel tells the truth, if she is guilty, then no will ever know. I dont think Emmerdale will keep this secret for too long, they love a big reveal storyline.

Although they seemed to be driving fast for a while before the crash (and possibly changed drivers that we didn't see) they apparently only travelled walking distance away.

Just because she SAYS she does not know how to drive, does not mean she did not get behind the wheel. Modern kids, who have played computer games, I believe would find it easier to learn than past generations. The hardest part of learning to drive, is clutch control and gear changing, the car was an automatic so all she had to do was put her foot on the accelerator and steer, not to difficult as there was little traffic. I think they are trying to make us think that because of Cathy's lying and bad behavior in the past, she is lying again here. Much bigger twist and drama, though not that big a surprize, if it was Angel, although I do not understand why she would do that, unless she was bullied or persuaded by Heath and Cathy..
