Malone. Is he really a Policeman? He never does any Police work and he is not dressed like a Detective Inspector

Silly Billy tells Will about Cain's secret. Cain is deaing with idiots.

Will doesn't bother to sit down even though he is struggling.

I can't believe that Kirk had a customer.

He seems to have adopted the dress code of "The Professionals" or "Starsky and Hutch".
The whole story makes no sense. Will suppose to be a drug ring Mr Big and yet he acts like a first time father awaiting the birth of quads. Malone suppose the be a Mr Bigger, altho' obviously a second thought add-on to the story, involves himself in ram raiding jewellers, is drug dealing not lucrative enough? Or is he just trying to prove he can multi task. What drug dealing we have seen him involved with. involved small quanties, not the quanties a Mr Big or a Mr Bigger would handle. Perhaps he is just testing Will to ensnare him, but would he do this himself surely he has minions for this. He is being written as a one man band. - Nonsense! Can't wait for it to be over.
Kim's love of Graham also seems a second thought re-write.

How would the police know that the four wheel drive was the one used in the ram raid, they must be very common in the countryside. Even if they had the reg number from CCTV surely that would have melted in the fire.
Has Malone punched himself in the face or duffed up Will and blamed it on Billy?
How is it "team building" to divide the group into pairs and have them compete against each other. More matchmaking nonsense.
All those people wanting to "Escape to the Country" thinking there is less crime there, please note there is no escape from bag snatchers on mopeds.

This Malone character. He is far too blasé and cocky to be believable. I cannot believe that he would be so powerful and if he is, why is he so desperate to have a small group of Emmerdale residents working for him ?

He is supposed to have been transfered to Hotton with a ready made gang of corrupt officers....impossible

He would surely come to the notice of honest senior officers, solicitors and politicians.

    It's just ridiculous

Exactly!!!!! - This why Soaps should not do gangster stories, they do not have the experience or writers to do them in a credible way. Why would a supposedly successful gang leader want "The Emmerdale Three" to work for him, resentful and against their will, surely they would be a liability to him. Accusing Billy of assault? Normally CCTV can be used to prove guilt, but the cameras in tne pub and surrounding street would show no evidence of him being there. As for hurting their families, would this perhaps not lead to an investigation by officers not under his control. I would have thought someone like Malone would want to stay in the background and draw no attention to himself. - No doubt Cain will bring him down at some point. The sooner this nonsense ends the better.

Based on the fact that he has an hold over several officers, very few would be trying very hard if Cain or anyone else killed him. Your comment about Mr Big staying in the background is particularly relevant
