    Hollyoaks Spoilers 13/04/09 to 17/04/09

    Monday

Ash is in good spirits, believing that he's gotten away with tampering with the bike and framing Justin for it. Leila's unable to believe that Justin would be so cruel and starts to become suspicious of Ash's behaviour. While she's at the hospital defending Justin to Hannah and Suzanne, a beaten up Rhys arrives and is quick to tell them all that Justin was his attacker. Justin can't believe that everyone is convinced he would hurt Hannah but his claims of innocence fall on deaf ears. He heads to the hospital to speak to Hannah but Suzanne won't let him near her. Afterwards, Calvin arrives to question him about the incident. Later at the Roys', Calvin arrives to question Ash. Ash falters, though, and admits that he didn't actually see Justin mess with the bike like he's told Suzanne but maintains that Justin's the guilty party. Leila's now convinced that Ash's story doesn't add up. Later, she tells Ash that she knows it was him who sabotaged the bike. Ste's buzzing and still can't believe he's a dad. However, he's starting to bore Theresa and Justin by going on about not seeing Lucas. He's frustrated when he sees Mike and Josh and they tell him to stay away. He desperately wants to get a message to Amy but Mike won't budge. Back at the flat, Daniel hints to Ste that while kids like Theresa and Anita are round him, he doesn't stand a chance at getting in with Amy and her family. Theresa and Anita are tipsy from drinking cider and they start to dance but Theresa accidentally spills drink on Ste's photo of Lucas. Taking Daniels advice, an angry Ste throws Theresa and Anita out the flat and tells her that it's over between them. From now on, Amy and Lucas are his priority. Jacqui's still wary around Russ after Nancy hinted that he fancies her the day before. Things are a little awkward in the flat and Nancy takes great pleasure in stirring things between them. Later, Russ becomes suspicious when Myra arrives with two bags of sprouts. They manage to get Russ out the house for a short while but he returns to find baby Max being photographed with the sprouts around him.
Myra admits that they're entering him into a spring baby competition as it's a McQueen tradition but Russ is horrified and quickly tells Myra and Jacqui that he'd planned to take Max to Benidorm. Russ tells Nancy about the holiday he's planned for him and Max when, just as Jacqui walks in and tells them how delighted she is about going away together.
After Carmel's discovery of Jesus's face in a potato, Malachy and Mercedes are determined to make money from their new scam. Their idea of making toast with the same holy image fails miserably but Malachy stumbles upon the idea of selling holy water in Virgin Mary bottles that he finds all around the McQueens'. When she realises what they're up to, Michaela immediately wants in on the scam and begins coming up with marketing strategies. Soon, the trio are stocked up and already planning on what they'll spend their fortune on.

    Tuesday

Ash is feeling the pressure after Leila confronted him about sabotaging the bike but he still shrugs off the accusations. Justin has resigned himself to the fact that he can't prove his innocence but is surprised when Leila tells him that she knows he didn't do it. She persuades him to go the hospital to speak to Hannah himself, but it's not long before Hannah tells him to leave as she refuses to believe Ash is guilty. Suzanne is determined to bring Justin down for his supposed actions and is furious when Ash admits that he didn't tell Calvin about seeing Justin tamper with the bike. Put on the spot by Suzanne, Ash tells her that Hannah hasn't been eating. Unable to see an innocent Justin blamed, Leila visits Hannah is hospital and tells her that Ash was the one who caused the accident. Ste's still desperate to prove himself, despite having dumped Theresa and is still unable to contact Amy. He's gutted when he sees Josh with Lucas, especially when Josh gloats that the Barnes have trusted him to mind the baby for the day. Back at the flat, Daniel encourages Ste to clean up his act and get the flat sorted, even lending him the cash to do so. He tells Ste that he needs to keep his cool and prove to everyone he's a changed man. Taking the advice onboard, Ste heads to The Dog to invite Josh to a naming ceremony he's arranging. Josh belittles his idea and knowing that he has one up on Ste, tells him that he's going to see Amy the following day. A deflated Ste asks to see Lucas but Josh, loving having the upper hand, refuses. Russ can't believe that Jacqui has assumed she's invited on the holiday he's planned for him and Max. Jacqui, however, is stocking up on her bikini's, genuinely excited about it all and Russ can't bear to clear up the misunderstanding. Nancy heads over to see Charlie but Frankie won't let her in, claiming that Charlie's poorly. Nancy leaves feeling concerned but is furious when she later sees Frankie with Charlie in the village heading to the park with a football. Nancy confronts Frankie but she's left reeling when Frankie tells her exactly what she thinks about her love triangle with Ravi and Kris - Frankie feels that Nancy's lifestyle is unsuitable for Charlie to be around. Nancy returns to the flat but her rant about Frankie soon turns into another argument with Jacqui and Russ is forced to quickly separate them.
Carmel's still on a high after discovering Jesus in a potato but the 'miracle's still more of a joke to the others. Ash is unconvinced when she shows him the spud but Leila is supportive and encourages Carmel to attend a Christian Union meeting at the SU. Carmel practices her speech on Mercedes, Malachy and Michaela, who are all bemused at the lengths she's going to. Realising they have a chance to sell their fake religious tat, they reassure a nervous Carmel that she'll be fine and they'll be there to support her. Later at the SU, Carmel is horrified when the trio turn up dressed as a priest and two nuns. Nobody at the meeting falls for their act and Malachy, Mercedes and Michaela leave empty handed with an embarrassed and upset Carmel on their case.

    Wednesday

Hannah's home from hospital and feeling suffocated by her mum's fussing. Sneaking out for some air, Hannah's head is clouded by thoughts of the crash when she bumps into Ash. Picking up on Hannah's demeanour, Ash is quick to hide his concern when he hears that the investigation result into the crash is due in tomorrow. Meanwhile, Justin's in the SU Bar, preoccupied over the mess he's been landed in, while Leila attempts to buoy him up. Fearing it's only a matter of time until the police knock on his door, Justin's about to leave Hollyoaks forever when Hannah's arrival stops him. Discussing the recent events, Justin grows impassioned over his innocence and Hannah's shocked by his strength of feeling. Upset, Hannah leaves and heads home where she's accosted by her mum. Suzanne tries to coax her to eat, but Hannah refuses to comply and is furious to hear that Ash has told Suzanne that she hasn't been eating for days. Arranging to meet with Ash, he remains unaware of her fury but as Hannah's wrath is unleashed, he quickly makes a sharp exit as her words reverberate. Sarah's attempts to dissuade Josh from taking Lucas with him when he goes to visit Amy fall flat when he maintains that he's not going to see her without him. Abi's arrival gives Josh an inkling as to how Amy may be feeling if she is suffering from post natal depression. After consideration, he decides to leave Lucas behind and visit her alone. Abi and Sarah's conversation soon turns to Ste and his forthcoming naming ceremony. Suggesting they should pay Ste a visit, Sarah pauses for thought by the idea. Arriving at the flat, a surprised Ste is thrilled to have a visit from his son and we quickly see Sarah thawing in her feelings towards him. He's thrilled when Abi acknowledges how successful the visit went and looks forward to a happy future when Amy's back where she belongs…
Nancy's in a vile mood and tells Russ how down she is at not being allowed to see Charlie at Frankie's behest. Insisting that she has to make Frankie see sense, Nancy is buoyed by Russ's words. Striking while the iron's hot, Nancy encounters Frankie in Drive 'n' Buy. However, she's not in the mood for chit chat as the shop is full of defrosting food and Nancy is the last thing she needs in her face. Frankie's grateful for help in mopping up the water damage, but insists that it won't make her change her mind with regards to Nancy seeing Charlie. As things become heated, Nancy makes an impassioned plea, prompting Frankie to relent and promise to bring Charlie around tomorrow. A delighted Nancy tells Russ her good news, which only serves to highlight that his relationship with Max is in the hands of Jacqui McQueen.
The McQueen house is still infested with rats and Myra's finally had enough and demands action, insisting that Mercedes and Michaela muck in and help. She also declares that it's time for the family to reunite - starting with Carmel. Heading into Evissa, Carmel is dismayed to see her heathen sisters before her. Accepting their gifts and apologies for upsetting her, Carmel insists they do one more thing for her - a good deed for the community. She has the perfect thing in mind - helping Frankie clear up Drive 'n' Buy.

    Thursday

Ste's desperate to be a proper dad to Lucas and knows that he has to convince everyone, especially Mike, that he's changed. Seeing Mike, Sarah, Leah and Lucas in the village, he tries his best to be helpful but Mike won't let him near. Through Sarah's persuasion, Mike reluctantly accepts Ste's offer of lunch at Il Gnosh. While telling Mike all about the naming ceremony he's organizing for Lucas, he innocently mentions that Lucas will officially be a Hay. Mike is outraged that Ste thinks Lucas will take his name and storms out Il Gnosh. Sarah confronts Mike about the real reason behind his outburst and he admits that he feels angry about what Amy's life has become, especially if she has children with different names. After talking to Sarah, Mike heads the flat to see Ste and apologises for starting a fight. A surprised-but-grateful Ste is thrilled when Mike tells him he'll attend Lucas's naming ceremony.
Hannah feels terrible for not believing Justin was innocent and is determined to make it up to him. She tries to convince Rhys that he should go and apologise but he still can't bring himself to admit he was wrong. Ash lets Ravi believe that Justin is lying still, while he's confident that he'll get Hannah back. Hannah and Rhys arrive at the SU Bar but her attempt at apologising to Justin doesn't really go to plan. He's furious when he hears that Ash tried to convince Hannah's family that she wasn't eating and heads out to confront him. Ravi protects Ash when Justin goes for him until he discovers the truth and he punches Ash himself. Hannah knows that Justin's who she wants, but when she turns up at the flat to tell him how she feels, he tells her that he's not interested and to stay out his life. Despite suffering from an eye infection, Russ is annoyed when Jacqui assumes he won't have plans and is free to mind Max. She's amused when Russ tells her that he might have had plans to go clubbing instead. When challenged him to name another club aside from The Loft, he can't. Russ later moans to Nancy that he feels he's old and boring but she tells him that she's just as bad and they can enjoy a night in together with the kids. Russ is made to feel even worse when Mercedes pops by to collect Jacqui for their night out and calls him middle-aged. Eventually, Russ enjoys his evening with Nancy, with both admitting that they wouldn't swap their night in for a night out clubbing. Their closeness becomes slightly unsettling to them both, though, especially when they end the night with a mistaken near kiss. Mercedes is trying to make money from fortune telling after being told by Nana McQueen that she has 'the gift'. Michaela is sure that being the seventh child of the seventh child must mean she, too, has abilities and decides to help out. They approach Nancy and offer to give her a reading but she just laughs off their psychic abilities. Their next potential customer is Ash but Michaela's reading shows deceit, bikes and police. It's all too close for comfort for Ash, who's just been fighting with Ravi. A fed up Mercedes soon leaves but Michaela stays and soon has her first customer in Hannah who is on her way to see Justin and wants to know if love is in the air. Michaela is shocked when she has a premonition while holding Hannah's hand. Scared by what she sees, she makes her excuses and runs off.

Abi's helping Ste prepare for the naming ceremony by buying drinks and food from Drive'n'Buy. They run into Mike and Michaela in the village and Ste is delighted to discover that Amy will be returning for the ceremony. Daniel helps Ste to prepare the flat and to show his gratitude for everything Daniel's done to help, Ste asks Daniel to be Lucas's guide-parent. Mike relays his fears and hopes about Ste and the ceremony to Sarah, who assures him that Ste's worth a second chance. Michaela storms through announcing that she'll be needing an outfit for the ceremony as she's the clear choice to be guide-mother. Everybody's impressed by the state of the council flat and the spread Ste has laid on. Michaela opens up to Mike about how much she misses living at home, while also expressing her fears for Amy. Mike assures her that she's every bit a part of their family and gives her a key to the house so she can stay whenever she likes. As Michaela continues to be her rowdy self, her behaviour stands in stark contrast to Daniel and Abi's mature responsible attitude. Ste begins to question the wisdom of having Michaela as a guide-parent. Eventually and contrary to Mike's wishes, he realises that Abi is far more suitable - especially since she delivered Lucas - and quickly breaks the news to Michaela. Unsurprisingly she's incensed and runs off in tears. Ste, however, is more concerned about Amy's impending arrival. Soon enough, the doorbell rings but much to Ste's horror, Josh arrives alone with bad news. Russ and Jacqui wake entangled with one another on the sofa after Jacqui's night on the tiles and Russ wonders for a moment if something might have happened between them. Jacqui goes back to sleep after Russ makes her a greasy breakfast and Nancy appears, accusing Russ of fancying Jacqui. Russ is horrified that Nancy would think such a thin and in his defence, says some pretty harsh words about Jacqui – completely unaware that she's hears the whole thing. Jacqui's furious and things quickly kicks off and comes to understand that Russ was only getting on with her to get closer to Max. With the realization laying heavily on her mind, Jacqui grabs her things and moves out. Jacqui runs back to the McQueens' and Myra suggests she move in with a very unsuspecting host. Meanwhile, Mercedes is having little luck pulling the customers into her fortune telling tent in the village and Myra manages to scare off her only customer. Dom enters to see what's going on and gets roped into paying for Mercedes's sham clairvoyance. Dom becomes quite upset, though, and storms out of the tent when Mercedes suggests to Dom that something horrible is going to happen to Loretta because of her job. Dom tries to explain to Loretta that he's worried for her but she casually dismisses Mercedes for the con artist she is. Dom gives Loretta a rape alarm just in case and although she finds him sweet and endearing, she also begins to find him a little annoying.

I'm also glad that someone punches Ash aswell, wiping that annoying smug grin of his face.
