In today's Daily Mirror, Kara Tointon says, in response to the question, "What do you think of the [exit] story, "I found Dawn falling for Phil hard as it came from nowhere. I don't like my character any more, she's become a horrible girl."

Then she has gone full circle as she was a vain, selfish character when she came into EE. She is also a character Ive never warmed too, soooo pleased as punch she is leaving.

in the sun she says that she is glad to have left her alter ego behind, calling her an idiot and glad to see the back of her. She won't be saying that in six months time when she has no money or no job.

Thanks to Vicky for my great new banner xxx

Kara Tointon has reportedly admitted that EastEnders producers made the right decision when they axed her character earlier this year.

The actress, who played Dawn Swann on the BBC One soap, said that all storylines surrounding her Walford alter ego were exhausted.

Tointon, 26, revealed that she was heartbroken when it emerged that her character was to be written out of the soap.

However, she said that Dawn's inability to learn from mistakes was getting on her nerves, adding: "I guess she annoyed me a bit.

"There was nothing left for my character. I wasn't really doing anything. You can only stand and order a sandwich so many times in the caff," she said.
