    Steps reunite for UK tour

    Exclusive
Camp pop act Steps are getting back together for a nationwide tour.
As reunions go, it falls some way short of Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd for serious music fans... but the dancing will probably be better.
Four of the band - Lisa Scott- Lee, Faye Tozer, Claire Richards and Lee -Evans - are going back on the road.
But Ian "H" Watkins is sticking to his new career on the West End stage.
Steps were the brainchild of Pete Waterman and burst on to the scene in 1997 with their first single 5.6.7.8, which got to number 14 in the charts.
There followed 14 consecutive top five hits - a feat bettered only by The Beatles - including two number ones.
They split on Boxing Day 2001 after growing tired of being known as Britain's naffest band - having made around £2million each.

Exactly. The Spice Girls achieved world domination almost the same as The Beatles did. There is NO way that Steps will be able to achieve the same success as the Spice Girls' tour did last year.

    yeah right!!!

although i dont mind them, spent many a drunken evening in a club recreating ( or trying to!!) the dance moves.

they were nowhere near as good as the spice girls
