Neighbours fans should brace themselves for more baby plot twists as Jeffrey Swan makes another surprise return.

Jeffrey and Chelsea Murphy come face-to-face again next month, just when it seemed that any unfinished business between them had been resolved.

Brand new spoiler pictures show Jeffrey and Chelsea together in scenes airing on Wednesday 7 May.

Chelsea seems engrossed by Jeffrey as they chat at Harold's Caf?, but what is the nature of this intriguing conversation? All will be revealed nearer the time?

"It's a big surprise to see Jeffrey and Chelsea meeting up for a chinwag ? there wasn't much left for them to chat about last time they saw each other," our Neighbours source teases.

"IT technician Jeffrey was one of the two possible dads when Chelsea returned to Erinsborough with baby Thomas in March, but they cleared it all up very quickly.

"Everyone seemed relieved when a DNA test confirmed that Paul was the father. Jeffrey didn't really want the responsibility of a baby, while Chelsea saw super-rich Paul Robinson as a far better option to be Thomas's dad.

"But now, just a few weeks later, why is Jeffrey back? He's definitely returning with a bang as he has a bombshell to drop?"
